[CLOSED] Le Le Dumpling

Their signature pan fried buns are pan-fried using water which makes them healthier than the usual pan-fried buns. I was expecting it to have more soup inside as the lady boss told me it’s like Xiao Long Bao. Maybe it’s just my unlucky day, the buns have little or no soup inside, like just one tiny drop of soup inside. Nonetheless, it was still tasty. The set comes with free mini dumplings(pretty bland), kimchi, beancurd and chicken balls(slightly dry). Add $1 for the Yuan Yang, don’t order this, no coffee/tea taste only milk taste.

altho it’s slightly ex $6.80 but it’s soooo good; the pork filling within is tender and juicy. the broth within is slightly sweet which complements the dominantly savoury dumpling. also, the spinach skin isn’t overly thick w a nice chewy bite + crisp bottom. the aunty is rly friendly too, besides the usual kimchi and bean curd sides she’ll give mini dumplings and chicken meatballs on the house too ☺️ perfect tea break!!

See the pictures if you’re scratching your head on what that actually means 😆. That’s not oil that you see in the pics, it’s water used for ‘frying’ and that’s what makes this store healthier than the other 生煎包 shops along Chinatown. Their pan fried buns’ skins also resembles the skin for xiao long baos and we especially like Le Le Dumpling’s green skinned pork buns and gyozas which were juicy and bursting with complex flavours. 🥟🥟🥟
