Awesome Burgers
I never found time to try out @threebunssg, but they found me at home with @deliveroo_sg. Yeah, now I regret every single day that Iâve missed out on all their brilliant burgers. The Fun Boy Three ($26.75 before delivery charge) was a real fungi (geddit?) thanks to yuge portobello mushroom perched upon the thick, marvellously meaty beef patty.â

I like big burgs and I cannot lie, you other brothas canât deny. I want âem real thick and juicy, and the Fun Boy Three definitely delivers. The Tasmanian Vintage beef patty is scintillatingly savoury, satisfyingly meaty, and jubilantly juicy. It could do with more char on the exterior, but thatâs a minor nitpick in all honesty.
The earthy, moreish mushroom which has been swaddled in melted smoked applewood cheddar just increases the absolute satisfaction of each and every bite. The meat & mushroom is lubed up with a tremendously tantalising truffle aioli AND garlic miso butter, and the lubed up meat is jammed between two fluffy, pillowy and tanned big buns. That ainât just satisfaction, thatâs a food orgasm.
Three Bunsâ house fries are absolutely addictive, and despite taking a 45 minute road trip to my crib, they were still compellingly crisp on the outside while being soft & savoury on the inside. Of course, it gets brought back to life after reheating for ten minutes in a conventional oven, and the burger gets a second wind after taking five in an oven.â

The Fun Boy Three is certainly expensive, but Iâd be lying if I said that it wasnât well worth every damn penny I invested into it.

Fatburger, an American casual restaurant chain which was founded in Los Angeles, California back in 1947, has landed in Singapore with the double impact of two outlets. First one to open is at Kinex Mall (previously known as OneKM) situated at the junction of Tanjong Katong and Changi Road. The eatery itself is located on the outside of the building facing the Haig Road Food Centre, so you have to walk along the outside to access it.
During the media launch, we each got to customise a Fatburger to our exact preference - that was fun! We were then served assorted sides to go with our burgers and also, trays of chicken from Buffaloâs Express (a partner of Fatburger here). To go with the boneless and bone-in styles of the chicken, we picked from seven types of sauces including a fiery âDeath Valleyâ hot sauce. These came in little plastic cups so there was no need for clumsy wrestling with foil packets.
I was glad to learn that everything we ate was cooked only upon order and although that meant a few minutesâ waiting time, my food arrived piping hot when it was served to me where I sat. And yes, that kind of service is something you can expect at every Fatburger outlet in the world, including the one at the Velocity Novena targeted to open in the second half of this month.
I would say from among the Fatburger sides I sampled, their Onion Rings ranked no. 1. Made fresh daily using real sliced onions, they tasted really good. I liked how the savoury batter gave a crunchy coating that brought out the natural sweetness of the onions nicely.
A little on the pricey side for something so simple, but it's simplicity is what makes it great. Freshly grilled beef with cheese on a bun, then add your own vegetables. At $11 the more premium "natural" beef is a couple bucks more, but it's worth it because imo the regular one isn't anything special.
One of my go to burgers. I like how Relish generally get their meat done right and isn't slathered in BBQ sauce (of course, a personal preference). For this one, I like how the blue cheese isn't too strong and nicely balanced out by the pear and peanut butter, complementing the juicy beef patty very well.
Absolutely speechless!! Amazing doesn't even describe it. It's fantastically messy!!! If you don't fall in love after first bite I don't know if you ever truly love a burger. #Burpple #foodporn #foodaffair #instafood #burger #loveatfirstbite
I have found my ideal ratio of bun to meat in the innocuously-named "No. 36". Let's start with the wonderful buns - obviously, they'd spent time on th
Served with really great truffle fries. Love their rich ingredients and truffle mayo spread.
Monster Burger. Beef patty with cheese, bacon, jalapeños, and a whacking good venison chilli. #burger #beef #chilli #american #foodporn #sgfood
