1kg fatty out-of-the-world Char Siew, 1/2 kg Roasted Pork, 1/2 Roasted Duck. All for $78. 6 of us, only 5 plates of rice. Not difficult to guess who is the odd one out. 🙊🙊 After this meaty feast, we had impressive Ang Ku Kueh for desserts! 😍😍

Just right next to the "popular" and "original" Ampang Yong Tau Fu, this place is my family go to place for seriously good dinner. More selection, faster service and better in taste, this restaurant beat the original hands down. Big on serving, and well made Yong Tau Fu, my family will always leave this place satisfied, especially I have a family with huge appetite. Those seriously delicious sauce (which I will ask for another small bowl to drown my rice) are starchy enough without being too over the top, compliment the Yong Tau Fu, and not fighting against! If you love braised duck and all the "Kway Chap" goodness, they serve a huge portion of it! That plate we ask for, is for 2 pax serving! You want something soupy? No problem, ask for their bowl of dumplings, which as usual have more than enough to go around. And if you want some stir fry or Zichar dishes? No problem, they have a good selection of those as well! An all rounder restaurant, that never fail to satisfy my family (at least, since they are quite picky). Set includes chinese tea & 白木耳甜汤, which costs $5.90 inclusive of gst. I was craving for spicy food & vermicelli so this was it. I personally think their food is considered really justifiable for the price & I would always recommend people I know to head here if you're on a budget yet want to enjoy some luxurious food.

Served piping hot, Supply & Demand's addictive thick cut fries are drizzled with truffle oil and topped with shaved parmesan and an entire roasted garlic (to ward off any vampires and humans).

If you're around Bugis/Bras Basar and looking for a place with affordable steak, then you should definitely pop by Steakout. With lunch sets going for $10, large portions and no additional GST or service charge, Steakout provides a treat not only for your stomach, but your wallet as well.

Wanton mee gets a modern spin at Wanton, a noodle bar (with mainly bar seats) opened by the people behind Seng's Wanton Noodle and Pluck. At lunch, come to this Amoy Street spot to enjoy their basic wanton noodles with char siew ($5.50 small / $6.50 medium), where the springy noodles and satisfying char siew don't disappoint. The dinner service starts you off with Nudles, i.e. plain Seng's noodles dressed in oil ($2). You then choose from unique toppings such as Fried Spicy Whole Quail ($14) or the Steamed Baby Kailan with Gangster Sauce, Braised Mushrooms & Scallops ($10). Wash your noodles down with their vodka-spiked chrysanthemum cocktail Ju Hua ($14 for a pot) or the Modern Times Coffee Stout ($16) to relax after work!

The chicken meat resembled popeye's, but the parts with skin melted in the mouth. The honey drizzle was a welcome complement and added to the fragrance of the dish. I didn't like the pickled coleslaw though and felt it didn't fit in with the rest. Comes with two big chicken parts and a side of fries not pictured, and is really filling. Fairly good, but not 'wow' great.

I ate Beef Sandwiches (13$). It's value for money because that's including tax and there's no service fee. Of course it was delicious and enough amount for my stomach. I also ate banana cake, I also recommend it.

Chef Stephane Istel does the meanest roast chicken. So juicy, tender, and covered with that irresistibly crispy charred skin.

Tired of the usual brunch items? Super Loco is an interesting twist with Mexican-inspired brunch items. For the meat lovers, the hearty breakfast burrito chock full of juicy steak slices and scrambled eggs will surely satisfy you. The pulled pork torta is another item worth ordering as well! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
