Barbecued pork belly on a sizzling platter with lettuce. The meat is well-balanced and juicy. Have fun wrapping the pork belly with fresh lettuce then dress it with some savoury, sweet and spicy gochujang sauce 》$15

Kimchi stew served piping hot with pork, vegetables, tofu and a bowl of rice. The soup is thick and flavourful with the right amount of sour and spiciness in there. Indeed a comforting and satisfying meal with authentic Korean taste at a very affordable price 》$12

Authentic Korean restaurants run by ajumma that also serves free flow banchan. Banchan was served to us while waiting for our orders to be ready. They have ketchup sausages, anchovies, fish cake, kimchi, bean sprouts and macaroni salad.

Out of those, I like the fresh and crunchy kimchi which were well fermented with sour, sweet and spicy flavour followed by the strips of fish cakes that were slightly sweet with a tender and chewy texture. Lastly, not forgetting the crunchy anchovies with a sweet and salty flavour.

The main highlight of this dish is glass noodles, which is made from sweet potatoes, along with colourful vegetables and well-seasoned meat. It has a balanced sweet and savoury flavour with crunchy vegetable and bouncy noodle texture 》$19

This is perfect when the weather is chilly to warm you up. Best shared among a few friends, this comforting pot of army stew comes with a slew of fresh ingredients such as canned beans, spam, sausages, tofu and kimchi all cooked together in spicy broth then add a packet of ramyeon to complete it. The best part is the refillable Banchan that was served upon order 》$38 / medium

This was done with a nice crisp on the outside. It comes with a good amount of vegetables and seafood. I feel the inside was a little too starchy/soggy and bland. I would prefer it to be more firm and crispier with more flavours 》$15 / medium

No Korean meal is complete without banchan. With any main dish ordered, we get these side dishes (11 types) presented to us with free refills at no additional cost. You will know that they are good when they are full house and do not scrimp on their banchan. Their generosity makes me want to come back here soon for another authentic Korean meal.

A simple and heartwarming dish with kimchi and pieces of chicken. A little too spicy for me to finish the entire bowl but it's definitely shiok to have this on a rainy day 》$9.80

Bibimbap with a choice of beef, pork, chicken with loads of crunchy vegetables and egg. It is a crisp and light selection that is already filling in of itself when combined with the fluffy rice. I like the use of the stone bowl which helps to keep the food warm especially when dining in an air-conditioned place 》$9.80

Pick a main, 5 sides, base, add-ons (optional) and sauce. Shake it up together with the sauces for maximum flavours and let’s bibim!

My order goes like this:
Main - Cured Salmon ($11.90)
Sides - Beansprouts, carrot, corn, pickled cucumber and kimchi
Base - White Rice
Sauce - Soy Garlic Jang

This bibimbap is pescatarian. They cured their salmon in-house using Korean sea salt to give a melty tender fish texture. A healthy (<500kcal) meal that’s perfect for dine-in/takeaway and have it on-the-go.

This place serves really affordable and satisfying Korean food in town. Each main dish comes with rice, soup and a choice of side dish (cucumber/anchovies/kimchi).

Fried saba fish served on a bed on healthy greens for a balanced meal. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender juicy on the inside. A type of comfort food priced reasonably in town 》$8.50

The spicy pork was served in a generous portion of lean meat on top of a bed of vegetables. The meat was tender and juicy with a nice combination of savouriness and spiciness 》$9

The outer layer was pan fried till golden brown and crispy. Although it is made up of potato and flour, it does not feel overly starchy/heavy and I kind of like munching on it. It also comes with a dipping sauce that is a mix between sour and salty. This is something I would order again to share just that it is a little oily but still acceptable 》$4.50

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
