A simple and heartwarming dish with kimchi and pieces of chicken. A little too spicy for me to finish the entire bowl but it's definitely shiok to have this on a rainy day 》$9.80

Bibimbap with a choice of beef, pork, chicken with loads of crunchy vegetables and egg. It is a crisp and light selection that is already filling in of itself when combined with the fluffy rice. I like the use of the stone bowl which helps to keep the food warm especially when dining in an air-conditioned place 》$9.80

Pick a main, 5 sides, base, add-ons (optional) and sauce. Shake it up together with the sauces for maximum flavours and let’s bibim!

My order goes like this:
Main - Cured Salmon ($11.90)
Sides - Beansprouts, carrot, corn, pickled cucumber and kimchi
Base - White Rice
Sauce - Soy Garlic Jang

This bibimbap is pescatarian. They cured their salmon in-house using Korean sea salt to give a melty tender fish texture. A healthy (<500kcal) meal that’s perfect for dine-in/takeaway and have it on-the-go.

This place serves really affordable and satisfying Korean food in town. Each main dish comes with rice, soup and a choice of side dish (cucumber/anchovies/kimchi).

Fried saba fish served on a bed on healthy greens for a balanced meal. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender juicy on the inside. A type of comfort food priced reasonably in town 》$8.50

The spicy pork was served in a generous portion of lean meat on top of a bed of vegetables. The meat was tender and juicy with a nice combination of savouriness and spiciness 》$9

The outer layer was pan fried till golden brown and crispy. Although it is made up of potato and flour, it does not feel overly starchy/heavy and I kind of like munching on it. It also comes with a dipping sauce that is a mix between sour and salty. This is something I would order again to share just that it is a little oily but still acceptable 》$4.50

Classic army stew with a variety of ingredients such as onions, lettuce, spam, chicken franks, bacon, mushrooms, kimchi, baked beans and instant ramen stew topped with cheddar cheese in homemade spicy paste. The base is thick, sweet and savoury but not as spicy compared to others. It is very worth the promo price and not forgetting to visit Yatkayan for an after meal dessert fix that is located just one level down.

They are currently running an opening special with 50% off classic army stew till 30 November 2020. Do make your reservations online (facebook) to avoid any disappointment and rejections as the place is quite small to accommodate last minute walk-in 》(U.P. $25.90) + $5 Asari Clams

My order goes like this:
Main - Soy Citrus Salmon ($12.90)
Sides - Beansprouts, carrot, corn, pickled cucumber and kimchi
Base - Brown Rice (+$1)
Sauce - Soy Garlic Jang

The soy citrus salmon comes in cubes of salmon flavoured with soy sauce and citrus juice then flame seared to give a delicious smokey and creamy melt in your mouth texture. A healthy (<500kcal) meal that’s perfect for dine-in/takeaway and have it on-the-go.

Too cheesy that I felt it is too overwhelming. It just felt that everything is too cheesy but the texture of noodles is good. Definitely not for someone who is not a cheese lover 》$7.40

This is a place I would think of if I’m craving for ramyeon in town especially on a rainy and chilly night. Nothing special except for some simple and comfort Korean cuisine that serves up very affordable meals by Koreans.

The texture of noodles are just right, slightly Q and chewy then served in piping hot sour and spicy kimchi soup with fresh and crunchy kimchi. Not to expect to have a lot of ingredients for the price paid but toppings are available at additional cost to make your ramyeon much more satisfying 》$6.80

Classic seafood jjamppong with prawn, quail eggs and generous amount of mussels.

The jjolmyeon noodles are made from wheat flour that gave a very chewy texture and cabbage are slightly burnt, adding a nice wok-hei flavour to the broth. It comes with 2 levels of spiciness. I went with level 1 and it already has that shiok spicy kick. I guess I would need lots of water if I am to go with level 2.

Got my 1-for-1 main dish with Burpple Beyond ✌ (U.P. $15.80)
