The iconic angel hair pasta from Saveur has been brought over to The Masses with a massive makeover, and I'm liking what we have here!🤤
Crab & Caviar, the first mouth might take you by surprise cause it's a cold pasta! But it was such a delight to slurp up with the slightly spicy sauce and briny caviar. Gimme MOAR! 😝
This diner-style space on the ground floor of Hotel G is where you should head to on your next "treat yo self" day. Swing by with your friends during lunch on weekdays (11-3pm) to take advantage of their Lunch Special ($18). This gets you a complete meal comprising of a signature burger (regular price $14), French fries (regular price $5) and half a pint of beer (regular price $12) or a soda (regular price $5). There are five signature burgers to choose from, of which we liked the Number One and the Number Three best. Both come with a juicy, well-seasoned patty of ground sirloin, cooked to your preferred doneness. Number One comes stuffed with caramelised onions, blue cheese, bacon, arugula and with Thousand Island sauce, while Number Three comes with Mezzo Secco Jack cheese topped with green chilli, chipotle and avocado. For burger enthusiasts, go crazy customising your burger with an extensive selection of ingredients including 12 types of cheeses!

The buttermilk #friedchicken one now features juicy fried chicken thigh, aji verde cabbage #slaw, and kewpie #Sriracha mayo, on soft onion #bread. I swear it feels like there's more meat than bread when you're eating it! #parkbenchdeli

I got lucky last week and landed myself with a Chef recommendation of Beef Cheek with Mash ($19.90) - pretty value for money, generous portion of tender beef cheek and Chef Shaun does a really good mash ❤ Upgraded my drink for a @sensuricoffee for $3!
A rainy afternoon calls for tea. And since they have some new items like the Fed up Fries, this became my tea break for Saturday. The curly fries came looking loaded and lovely. My first bite resulted in some clapping, cos it was cheesy and spicy. But as I dug further in, it became saltier. And saltier. Thankfully I got a whole pot of earl grey to wash out the unpleasant saltiness. There was no tea bag in the pot, so I dunno how long they steeped the tea for. Tea taste was weak, which disappointed me. I like my tea strong. But it was hot, which made me happy. Cos I expect my hot beverages to be HOT, not lukewarm. Lovely afternoon of live music, misty rain and hot tea. Just try to forget the Fed up (with salt) fries.
What I wouldn't give to be digging into a hot pan of this right now! This bread and butter pudding is the best I've ever had. 🔥
Made with their fruit loaf (sourdough paaaaacked with jammy fruits), it's one of the heavier B&B puddings I've had but it works so well! Giving it a good bite with the smooth pudding, definitely one of my must-orders here.
