All About Lunch

($3.50) consisted of chicken drumstick + cabbage with chili.

($2.50) consisted of chicken wings + egg only with chili.

I decided to go budget for set meal as I decided to get meatless minestrone soup (not bad but quite waterish), chicken ham & cheese sandwich (really don't like tomato and overall i did enjoy sandwich) and bottled water ($9.90) and also free soup samples (lobster bits) I didn't aware abt it until I saw receipt lol.

I felt that their soup broth was super salty tbh but their mixed fish is so-so tbh even they added clam inside the soup. Most of them order their fish head tbh for in high different range of pricing.

the Butcher’s Sandwich:
just like the Fairfax, soft and buttery brioche buns and creamy scrambled eggs, but with chorizo and alfalfa sprouts. chorizo is flavourful and salty, with a pinch of spice that may be overwhelmed by the eggs. you can still taste the chorizo chunks tho, so that’s a plus. not a huge fan of alfalfa sprouts tho, their aftertaste is kinda odd ngl.

Chorizo Slut:
ordered this as an add-on set with an in-house craft soda (which is refreshing but pretty overpriced, as with almost everything in eggslut). coddled egg is creamy and blends very well with the salty chorizo. sadly bread was very hard and dry even with the olive oil and after dunking it in egg.

Miso Mushroom Noodles, Veggie Mandu and Sparkling Water

Finally I got the chance to try this since last year but I was slightly full to eat so I passby the area and decided to hop in for lunch deal instead. They got a variety of dumplings to choose from the menu but the noodle and drink wise got less choice as their specality was dumpling. I wanted to try their special dumplings like fried pierogi's high recommended for people also but I just stick usual ones such as original or veggie. Veggie Mandu just slightly oily for me and also their sauce already dipped with dumplings while serving. But the fillings inside the dumplings got a lot of ingredients and just nice for the serving. Miso Mushroom Noodles I felt in my opinions like dry noodle with mushrooms and meats but people was really high recommended for this. I almost cannot eat noodle finish as the sauce for the noodle was a bit strong taste for me. I just stick to their dumplings instead of their noodles tbh next time.

really come back for their crispy roti prata after almost 1 year. really so good with plain and egg flavour even though it's not that thick dough and so just nice.

Kimbap ($6.90)

consisted a lot of ingredients inside the sushi. still ok but average taste for kimbap.

Korean Ramen ($5.90)

Olive Fried Rice ($5.90)
I didn't feel that not much taste in Olive Fried Rice but its a bit oily.

Ice Kachang (Red Bean) was quite so good after eating hot ban mian 🤌 they contained a lot of red bean, jelly and attap chee.

Ban Mian (Meatball)($6.50) (after a long time never eat there) I felt that it's so good that i also recommend to try this second branch beside geylang road.
