my second visit to fuel cafe (after their soft launch) and it didn't disappoint me. you will be spoilt for choices 'cause they have a greater selection of mains now! I had their pulled pork tacos ($13.90) and Mocha ($5.40). Both were great! Will be back to try to try out other dishes on the menu ππ»ππ»
Add whatever you like just like how you eat your usual steamboat. π

Nestled on the rooftop of Link Hotel at Tiong Bahru is Lin's ζ Rooftop Bar!
Their menu is filled with mainly Asian-fusion dishes & one of the items that stood out of the menu was the Chilli Crab Pasta. We were warned that the waiting time was about 45 minutes to an hour, and we could tell why looking at how crowded it was for a Tuesday evening.
The food arrived about 45 minutes later, but who's counting when there was Happy Hour half pints at $6++, and we were treated to a spicier version of the Chilli Crab pasta, and a whole deep fried soft shell crab that came with it.
Pasta was slightly overcooked (which is fine cause most don't really enjoy al dante pasta) and tossed in a sweet-spicy-eggy Chilli Crab mixture & chopped chilli which passes off just right. The soft shell crab though, was a stunner with it's crisp exterior & succulent interior. Combine it altogether, this is one dish I'd order again when I'm back!

It might look like a small portion for 2 but it is definitely filling! Spicy stew with baked beans, spam, sausage, tofu, rice cake, dumplings.. Definitely warms your heart and soul. π΄

Now this is the tart to order if you want to reap good benefits from good fats. The Fresh Avocado Tart (S$7.80) is a yummy dessert with the goodness of avocado in puree form, filling the tart to the brim. A large blob of marshmallow jam tops the tart to add some sweetness, while a thick coating of cocoa powder gives that bitter but balancing finish to this disguised tart. Definitely not as visually seductive as their fruit tarts, but it also packs some nutrition that we all need.
A word of caution though. Somewhere within this tart, I chanced upon a hazelnut. Just be careful if nuts are not your best friends.

This was so good, it was moist and had a spongy texture which soaking up the caramel sauce. Loved it!
Love the crust.. It's crispy and melts in my mouth. The cream was generous.. But someone forgot to put in the salt
