Whole boston lobster de-shelled skillfully to be cook with fresh prawns and scallops in a seafood broth that was used as a base for the risotto. So deliciously good. My only issue with this is that it costs me $38.

Not exactly an italian dish but part of the valentine's day menu of an italian bistro. Buns were buttery, toasted and had a layer of caramelised onion sauce. In between the buns, wagyu beef, cheese mushrooms and parma ham. The distinctive ingredient here is the parma ham which was not so commonly used in burgers but definitely the most italian ingredient used here. Hence an additional smoky and saltiness punch not found in your typical beef sandwich.

Visited da paolo at Rochester for dinner and this was part of the valentine's day menu. The sauce that goes together with the taglietelle pasta was incredible. It was a marriage between tomato paste and carbonara cream- half red and white , and it was literally saturated with crab meat! I thoroughly enjoyed the taglietelle and would definitely patronise da paolo again for well made italian cuisine.

Had the prawn risotto from the cafe and I was mindblown. It looks very normal but this can taste so good. The grains were well cooked, soaked and well marinated in the gravy broth. They used fresh meaty prawns. The only thing I don't like about this place is how secluded it is.

So glad to have a hipster coffee shop in the west. Good variety of pastas and mains. Happy to see young people contributing to the local hawker scene.

They had these mini jalapeno fried together with cherry tomatos, asparagus that give this lemongrass tomyum sourness which added another interesting dimension of flavour.

Had the 4 cheese and parma ham for dad's birthday. Still prefer the semi cooked egg pizza last time round at greenwood avenue.

First dining experience here in botanic gardens. Plenty of options here: western, local. I got a Singaporean fusion dish. Pasta cooked and served with Sweet chili crab sauce. Generous portion of crab: chunks in the sauce and a whole soft shell crab that is deep fried placed on the top of the spaghetti.

Recommended by the cafe and definitely would recommend this to people who visit and why!

Can you believe this slow cooked to perfection seafood actually has the texture of fresh mud crabs. So incredibly tender!
