✅Rosemary Chicken with Emmental Cheese Croissant ($7.50++)
Buttery flaky croissant is filled with chicken mayo. The rosemary is pretty aromatic. Tastes good but not outstanding to wow about. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣
⁣⁣✅ Cookie Crumble Cheese Cake (6.50++)
I don’t think it is possible to go wrong with this cake. Rich creamy deliciousness! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣
⁣⁣✅Satay Chicken roll ($6.90++)
One of the creative food items launched by Starbucks in celebration of Singapore’s 54th birthday. Perfectly toasted buns filled with fresh chicken and pineapple chunks in a nutty satay sauce. Absolutely delicious!

Cold green tea noodles with black pork tempura drenched in garlic chili oil and their house-special spicy sauce. I would call it Japanese style mala cold noodles. The flavour is nice but it is quite rich too, which might get a bit jelak after a while. Despite being mixed with the noodles, the black pork tempura managed to retain its crispiness till the end which is commendable. Overall, a unique and delicious dish!

One of the newer sushi options in Ichiban Sushi. I have forgotten what sushi was on the right plate as it was not as delicious as the Crispy Dory Maki. Fried Crispy Dory Fish with Cornflakes, cheese, bonito, seaweed flakes, shrimp roe and mayonnaise, which gives the sushi a mixture of textures. The menu stated that the sushi contains a spicy sauce but I didn’t taste much spiciness to it. Regardless, the flavour was still pretty good in my opinion and it is a good option for those who don’t eat raw fish.

Here we have:
✅菜脯鱼头 Chai Poh Fish Head 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
✅马来风光 Sambal Kangkong
✅芋头扣肉 Braised Pork Belly with Taro
✅咕噜肉 Sweet and Sour Pork

These 4 dishes with 4 plates of rice totals up to be S$50, which is pretty reasonable considering the portion sizes. It is not my first time here but a must order every time I am here is their 菜脯鱼头 Chai Poh Fish Head. Extremely huge, meaty, fresh and flavourful fish head. Simply amazing. There are no words that I can use to describe it. Just come here, try it for yourself and you will know what I mean. Delicious is an understatement! At least for me 😋 ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

Another appetiser that I got as a set with the drink. Served chilled. Doesn’t look like much but this dish has more flavour than the cucumber appetiser. In my opinion, it is not so much about the flavour for the appetisers but the crunchy and refreshing nature that opens your appetite before the noodles or cleanse the palette during the meal

Ordered this appetiser and a drink as a set with my ramen for an additional $3.20. Not much flavour to be honest but it is refreshing and crunchy especially when you need sth to cut the richness of the noodles

Want to try their shrimp broth but afraid that it might be too rich? Get this shrimp soup on the side instead! I’m glad I did that and got the Red Garoupa Tonkotsu Ramen as my main instead as I am not usually a huge fan of very rich broths but how can you come to Le Shrimp without trying their famous shrimp broth?

This soup screams prawns so those who love thick prawny broths, this is definitely for you. Don’t get me wrong though. This is a good bowl of prawn soup but it is too overwhelming for me if I had to finish a whole bowl of ramen in such thick broths.

Overall, if you like thick and rich broths, get their shrimp ramen soup. If not, get their dry noodles or the lighter tonkotsu broth ramen instead

To be honest, I preferred this tonkotsu soup base more than their shrimp soup as the latter was too rich for my liking. Fresh and huge fish chunks in a flavourful tonkotsu broth. Choice of noodles includes Chinese la mian, vermicelli and rice noodles. I chose to go with ramen noodles because I prefer some bite to my noodles as opposed to the other options which tend to be softer in texture. Pretty good quality bowl of ramen in my opinion. For those who prefer lighter broths, do give this a try!

Tasted okay but it can get a bit jelak nearing the end. It is not a bad bowl of noodles but just not something to wow about in my opinion

Really sweet red bean topping but it balances really well with the milk snowflake shaved ice on the bottom. Flavour is not bad but after including of gst and service charge, the total comes to $24.60 which is pretty steep for a bowl bingsu in my opinion

This dish is lighter on the palette and healthy tasting. Not too bad but it is on the expensive side in my opinion

Crispy skin with a hint of garlic fragrance but the texture of the chicken was a bit dry for me.

💕Eat. Cook. Bake. Repeat.
