Picked up some takeout mapo tofu and rice ($9.20). Tasty and satisfying, although it was missing the minced meat usually found in mapo tofu. Enjoyed the copious amount of (non spicy) green chillies 👍
These had big juicy whole prawns and minced pork hidden inside. Not bad
Great! Pastry was flaky and buttery
This was alright. Could use more salt though!
Only a couple tiny pieces of scallop in each rice roll. Disappointing!
Comforting, savory herbal soup and a very generous whole chicken leg. Loved this! Came with a housemade dipping sauce with soy sauce, minced garlic & ginger, fried onions, red chilli and sesame oil (I think)
Affordable lunch buffet at $20-ish++ per person. They've got a self serve bar with vegetables, tofu, hot dogs etc. Sliced meats and seafood are ordered from the staff. Soup bases are charged separately, we got the laksa and chicken soups. Try the fried prawn paste chicken wings (included in the buffet)!
Not a very memorable plate of chicken rice, although price is reasonable for the area. Soup was downright bland. Still prefer Sin Swee Kee one street over!
We got the laksa and chicken broth. Simple, no frills but satisfying meal! Small selection of a la carte ingredients and basic sauce bar. But u really don't need dipping sauce with the laksa broth anyway. Spent close to $40 for 2.
For those who drive, there are just 2 lots available in front of the restaurant, and it doesn't seem lk there's alternative parking close by.
Really yummy! Picked flower clams, baby cabbage, baby corn, quail eggs, oyster mushrooms, spinach & sweet potato vermicelli drenched in their secret spicy sauce & sesame sauce. The portion u get per ingredient is really small, so what I ordered amounted to just a snack. If u're looking for a full meal, definitely choose more ingredients. Sauce was rather mild, so do add the chilli flakes available if u prefer a more spicy kick.
Ordered this cos the bf needed a side of meat. Tasty but nothing special
This was just alright, actually a bit dry
