This set is perfect for hungry people like us! It was definitely worth it for 2 rice bowls (of your choice), 2 soups of the day, 4 sticks of Yakitori, 2 bowls of salad and 2 cups of iced/hot green tea.

We tried the Kei Signature Kaisendon and the Mentaiyaki Kaisendon. The rice bowls were surprisingly good and they were generous with their ingredients. The serving size is just nice for 2 hungry adults. Yes I would come back again for this deal.

Pretty standard and solid breakfast dish - except one of the poached eggs was slightly overcooked so I was denied the satisfaction of watching the flow of the golden egg yolk as I cut it open. I personally wished the toast was a little more exciting, but I guess it’s just standard. Still overall a yummy dish.

We visited Pacamara on a Monday morning and it wasn’t too busy, just the right amount for a chill cafe hangout. We managed to get the seats by the window so we can people watch while we enjoyed our food.

Decided to try something a little different - shredded duck leg confit on potato rosti, topped with poached egg and Hollandaise sauce. It didn’t feel very much like a breakfast dish, but the combination of ingredients was surprisingly quite yummy. I wouldn’t order it again but I think it was worth a try if you wanted something a little different from the standard breakfast/brunch items.

The Mac and Cheese disappointed us, it wasn’t cheesy at all - in fact it was dry, and some of the macaroni pieces were tough. Mostly a tasteless dish apart from the small bacon bits inside. Wouldn’t recommend buying this dish.

Atmosphere of the cafe was nice though, ulu and pretty - we went there on a weekday afternoon and it was three quarters full, much to our surprise. Luckily we made a reservation!

We decided to try their signature dish (which was not included in the Beyond deal), the 4 Colours Set. Food was good, quite pricey though - probably suited for those that want a good quality Korean BBQ place. I may come back but I’d use the Beyond deal next time.

We initially made a reservation on Facebook but when we went there, for some reason they didn’t note it down (?) so we almost couldn’t get a seat, had to stand outside for a bit while they settled their stuff. Otherwise service was fine.

Visited this cafe on a weekend evening and gosh it was really crowded, despite us arriving at around 6pm. Food is quite expensive and servings are small, but at least it was not bad. We waited an hour for the food but we were warned beforehand so it was okay.

I personally don’t think the food is worth the price at all but the appeal of this place lies in its atmosphere, it’s situated right beside the waters and romantically decorated - perfect for a date night dinner followed by a stroll along the waters. If you value ambience then this might be a good place to check out. I would probably avoid coming during peak periods though.

Yummy scrambled eggs with a tiny hint of truffle on a brioche - a very satisfying brunch dish. Don’t expect a strong truffle taste, the truffle smell was more like a subtle finishing touch. It was surprisingly a very filling dish!

The ambience of the cafe is great, there’s an outdoor sitting area with a lot of buzz from the other customers and cute dogs lazing by their tables. Location is very accessible, just a short walk from Botanic Gardens MRT.

Would recommend coming early to avoid long queue times, this cafe is really popular! We went at 10.30am and queued for about 20+ minutes.

Order this if you’d like a feast for breakfast, we finished this huge plate of breakfast/brunch staples happily and left the cafe with full stomachs. It’s worth it with the 1-for-1 Beyond deal.

The Black Forest Ham Fladen was good - think flat, crispy bread topped with ham and cheese. It’s great for sharing, the serving is way more than enough for one person I think. Worth it with the Beyond 1-for-1 deal. We enjoyed the outdoor seating atmosphere at Westgate!

Ordered the Bauernwurst, or Farmer’s Sausage - it’s a traditional German sausage made from smoked pork & beef, with onion, garlic, marjoram and mustard seeds. It was good, and the serving size is just nice for a starving individual. Worth it with the Beyond 1-for-1 deal. We enjoyed the outdoor seating atmosphere at Westgate!

Came here on a weekday afternoon and the shop was completely empty, which was nice, we got our food quickly. We ordered an Unagi Bento ($18.90) and Salmon Mentaiko Bento ($16.90) with our 1-for-1 Beyond deal.

The unagi was really soft, I enjoyed it. The mentaiko was average. But for the price we paid, it was definitely a steal.

I liked the small shop - it was cozy and we got the bar seats so we could see the chefs at work, slicing the salmon or blowtorching our food!

Smoked salmon, sunny-side up, zucchini and avocado on a thin pancake (made of buckwheat flour) with a pesto base, and cream cheese on the side - these are all ingredients I love 😍 thanks Beyond Pancakes for putting them all together.

The galette was a little too thin, but overall the combination of ingredients made this dish very difficult to find fault with. We enjoyed it, even if it wasn’t very filling.
