More Reviews of good food at Maria's SteakCafe (Bangsar)

This cosy, stalwart cafe (with several outlets across KL) lets their meat speaks for itself. The Australian Black Angus (RM59/100g) is prime, and best enjoyed Maria’s signature-style — with roasted potatoes and greens on the side. Though served without a sauce, the steak’s own meaty flavours come through beautifully.

The 310g Wagyu 9 striploin in medium doneness. Served with roasted vegetable and potatoes.

During our visit on a weekday, they only have last piece of Wagyu 9 in 310g. We didn't feel like eating a portion like this, the staff is kind enough to help us split the steak so we could share and save the tummy for other dish.

*Photo shown was half of the portion of the full steak.

If all you want to do is dine alone and eat a steak in a relaxed and casual dining atmosphere, then this is the place to do it. Open for lunch and dinner, Maria’s Steakcafe has a range of different menus suited for everyone, from the restaurant’s signature beef steak, to standard fish and chips, and chicken parmigiana. As per chef's recommendation, I had the Australian Black Angus steak cooked medium rare (RM48/100gms). It was downright juicy and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, even on its own!
