We didn't know how to order so ended up over ordered lol! These were side dishes to go with mee tai bak soup! I like the noodle very qq!
Another staple the locals use to pair with their starchy soups. I dabao so you can't see but normally it's served with spring onion and a seasoning that really lift this simple dish. Pretty much just dry stir-fried noodles.
Scallion pancakes are everywhere, but this is different and rare. It uses a type of spring onion called 三星葱. Instead of a prata dotted with scallion, this is a pie packed with 三星葱. Overpowering but delicious and well executed.
Basically Taiwanese sausage but in bite size, which isn't really novel too. Disappointing given the long queue. The sausages weren't even barbecued properly.
Recommended by our Taiwan friends, the 蟹肉羹 from 吳記 was the highlight, and left a warm and fuzzy feeling in our tummies! We also had 營養三明治 which was supposedly healthy but it was fried bread spammed with mayo so not really sure if it was healthy - but sinfully awesome! Had really sweet corn and 水煎包, as well as matcha latte from koi (although rather underwhelming and diluted)
