All cheesecakes at 4.5 and all creme brulees at 6.5 if I'm not wrong. Really dense cream cheese layer with a soft biscuit crust. There's a slight savoury note from the cheese which is always nice. Topped with a sugar glaze
From Ms. Kneady’s — a new dessert stall by the same folks behind Mr. Kneady’s located at The Bedok Marketplace beside Urban Smokeshack; taking over the former space of Mike’s Caribbean Deli, Ms. Kneady’s serves up different variants of cheesecake and creme brûlée.
Usually I am quite skeptical of flavored Creme Brûlée but Ms. Kneady’s version is well on point. Beneath that crackling, torched sugary layer over the top, the Creme Brûlée was a harmonious blend of custardy edginess along with the booziness of rum with rum-soaked raisins — not overly sweet and certainly pretty intriguing with every bite. Works as a good after-meal sweet treat considering the many hipster options already in the food centre.
