Acai bowl for the hungry (350ml - $12.90)
A cup of organic Acai blend with Greek yogurt topped withĀ fresh strawberry, chia seeds, coconut flakes and nuts. The layer at the bottom is granola and nuts. Overall, it is not very sweet which i like it however, it's a bit hard to mix everything in the cup without spilling some toppings.
Salmon was tasty, while the sides were well marinated! With the Burpple promotion, this dish was extremely value for money (~$9).
Again, small plate served with food, again. However, taste was not too bad overall. Donāt be surprised if this plate keeps you full for a very long time!
This is one of the beyond burpple deals for 1-1, overall very worth.
However, if you are a student, or choose to dine during lunch time, there are also very good promo, in fact, can be better than burpple!! If one orders during lunch between 12-2pm, from the mains, you can get an iced drink and soup of the day! Worth it!
First time trying the burger in this place. Itās fried chicken with mayo, cheese, sauce and fries on the side. Oh and thereās a fried egg on top of the chicken patty.
I love the bread. Itās soft, fluffy and slightly crispy on the inside.
Overall food fullness level: 10/10
Presentation of food: 7/10
I just find that it can be quite troublesome to eat the burger, regardless of gender, as the serving wooden plate/board is shallow and there is not much place to cut the burger up for instance ( as the burger is definitely too big to stuff in oneās mouth)
Hope that can be improvised so can create a better dining experience.
āFeeling hungry? Have a bigger cup of organic Acai blend with granola and Greek yogurt topped withĀ seasonal fruits, chia seeds, coconut flakes and nutsā
First off, great presentation. Youāll see each ingredient carefully layered and placed within the cup.
I was definitely surprised to see it served in a Bodum-esque glass. I guess thatās one way to measure 350ml to a T. Plus, read the description again and it does actually say cup.
As a fan of aƧaĆ bowls, I wouldnāt exactly call this your typical aƧaĆ bowl. At $12.90 I was mostly expecting to see more than 10% aƧaĆ; it is after all an aƧaĆ bowl.
I would re-describe this, in my own words, perhaps something along the lines of āBreakfast cup - granola, peanuts and Greek yoghurt, topped with organic aƧaĆ, seasonal fruits, chia seeds and coconut flakesā. That, at least would be more accurate.
I did however find that aƧaĆ and Greek yoghurt go really well together. A bit of sweet and sour (or in this case a lot of sour), itās a great pick-me-up for any time of the day.
Located on the 3rd floor of NLB w a pretty good view. Food was decent I Guess but itās on Beyond which makes it rather worth it plus if ur studying in NLB itās pretty convenient :-) Prices r nett too
