i was looking for a place to chill and enjoy a dessert after a long day of walking in the malls! strawberry cake was small and not that great for its price 🍓
Filled with pulut hitam (black glutinous rice), longan and coconut custard
.
Cant travel the world now, so take a tart trip around the world at Paris Baguette!
Paris baguette is selling a range of tarts now: cheese tart, chocolate tart, matcha tart, pulut hitam tart, sweet walnut tart and red bean cheese tart (1 for $3.5; 6 for $18).
Featured here is the walnut tart and matcha tart! I was surprised to find a layer of azuki red bean at the bottom of the matcha tart. But it wasn't too strong of a flavour, and for the non- red bean lover me, it was still a very enjoyable tart! The walnut tart comes with a walnut paste base so it wasn't too dry. Enjoyed both of these tarts!
Here my usual cake is always Camembert cheesecake but I was ready to try something new this evening. Their strawberry shortcake is soft, refreshing and light. The cream is light too, hence personally it wasn’t too ger-lat. Strawberries are quite fresh. I like it. This may seem ordinary and nothing too fancy, but it’s simple and good. Thank god I choose not to share and I get to eat it on my own! Kid you not. Recommend.
Time to celebrate D1 of Phrase 2 with @parisbaguette_sg new 3 Cheers Croissant series. Each croissant ($6.50) is generously filled with decadent rum-infused flavoured creams. Check out the three flavours:
