.
๐Ÿ“Millefeuille Strawberry (RM16): Highly recommended by other foodies so I decided to try but was disappointed ๐Ÿ˜ญ the pastry was abit burnt for me. But the strawberry and custard inside was delicious. So maybe it was a hit or miss for me โญ๏ธ5.5/10
.
๐Ÿช Chocolate Cookie Cheese Tartlet (RM15.90): This one was a delight, not too sweet and just the right texture of cheese and chocolate for me โญ๏ธ8/10
.
.
๐Ÿซ Hot Chocolate : This was heavenly. The chocolate was thick, not so sweet and you can really taste the real dark chocolate bittersweet taste. Super indulgent! No joke โญ๏ธ9/10 . ๐Ÿ•— Opens 10am - 10pm

The chocolate was made from dark chocolate so it isnโ€™t overly sweet. Good that they didnโ€™t use milk chocolate. The crust was thin and dense. I like this. Good for sharing because I think that chocolate is a bit too much for one person.

This is RM16.90.

The hazelnut cream was not overly sweet. The eclair was light and airy as you would expect from a French bakery. Nothing wow about this.

Turkey ham, emmental cheese in a French pancake top with sunny side egg served with provencale tomato and salad.
Delicious but pricing is on the high side for the portion served..

Crepe complete and hazelnut eclair are delicious.. definitely something I will go back for again..
But Wagyu burger was disappointing as the beef wasnโ€™t juicy and rather dry..

One of the giants of French dessert salons has finally landed in our humble shores! Really excited to try out Paul's as I first got to know it through social media of it's opening.. this ever famous pastry salon is everywhere across France and you can even find it in a Gas station or an R&R place too.. They are really famous for their Giant macaroon which is a huge cookie.. This shop is located on the corner which connects you from the Pavilion Elite block to the Pavilion shopping mall block.. Its quite easy to spot with it's French interior that is so alluring.. The atmosphere is really homey yet it's still retains the allure of France and you can have a view of the working kitchen with its chef hustling and bustling making delicious pastries.. For this visit, we had the Red Berry Tart (RM18) which has a very attractive look and the generous portion of it makes it a great sharing dessert if you're after something light or you can have it alone if you're hungry.. The pastry of this tart is really flaky and brown.. The tart is really interesting with its combination of flavours from the tartness of the raspberries and blueberries alongside the hint of sweetness of its strawberry.. Their service is quite relax and not to say the most friendly.

For pastry fans, the name PAUL will ring a bell โ€” a French one, no less. The world-renowned bakery now open for business offers all the more reason to visit the mall. Here, the 128-year-old brand's trademark class takes centrestage. Rows of fresh bakes are rimmed with gold accents and surrounded by it, a dining area gone luxe โ€” all sure signs to make a date swoon over. While the store serves both sweets and savouries, it is the former that it's famed for. Case in point: the zesty Rhubarb Tart (RM16) made to delight with a flaky, butter-rich tart shell imported from France. Also loved are the Eclair Cafe (RM13) that sees a sleek, shiny coffee glaze atop airy, cream-filled choux pastry, and the Millefeuille Chocolat (RM16) beautifully layered in luscious chocolate cream and crisp puff pastry. The list goes on, and the good news is, you can always decide to take one home with you for later! Expect the pastry to be primly packed.
Avg price per person: RM40

#paulpatisserie review. Let's start with the first item, the Sandwich Atlantique which is a smoked salmon sandwich costing RM18.40. It sounds pretty hefty for a sandwich but upon eating it you kind of realise why it is so. The baguette was firm and chewy yet easy to eat and swallow and it was baked with sesame seeds giving it a very earthy aroma. The smoked salmon was fresh and I absolutely love #smokedsalmon so I have to admit I am biased towards this sandwich a little because of that. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and crisp. Most of all, the sandwich was exactly like the ones I ate at delis and cafes in Paris, making this sandwich an authentic experience. The next item is the Pain Chocolat Amande which is a pastry of chocolate, almonds and frangipane. Biting into this warm pastry was a delight with the rich flavour of chocolate mingling with the sweet and aromatic almond custard and almond flakes on top. It's worth the RM8.02 to buy it. Next is the Tart Citron Meringue which is a citron tart with a meringue on top. The tart was a mixture of sour and sweet balanced with the light sweetness of the meringue on top. It's RM15.09 but large French tarts usually go for this price here in Malaysia. Finally, there is the Flan Normand, which is an apple tart made in the Normandy way. It was not too sweet and the apples were so fresh and there is the lovely aroma of cinnamon. I consider it rather pricey at RM16.98 but it could be rather tedious to make and I just don't know it. Overall, a very pleasant(and expensive!) experience. I will definitely come here occasionally to satisfy my cravings for authentic French patisserie. 9/10 would definitely recommend if you have a pretty penny to spend on a high quality dessert or snack or if you have a hankering for authentic French cafe/bakery food. #paulmalaysia #paulpavilion #haul #foodhaul #pastry #patisserie #frenchfood #foodgasm #burpple #foodreview #foodporn #tart #sandwich #frenchpastry #eatdrinkkl #klfoodie #foodstagram #nofilter
