The char kway teow was tasty with good wok hei, quite a good deal as dessert was included.

Could smell the penang ckt as soon as we walked into the shop. The shop was surprisingly big and crowded. Due to Covid, the food has to be ordered through the ipad (which was extremely laggy) but the best part was that they were extremely receptive to the special requests that we made. Some of the best dishes include the penang ckt (lots of cockles and fresh prawns), salted egg chicken, soup of the day, satay, kuay pie tee. Couldnt eat spicy so not sure about the rest though I'm sure it tasted great as well.

Had the Penang Char Kway Teow and mini kuehs. CKT came with prawns, squid, cockles, fishcake and plenty of greens. Definitely enjoyed it as everything was fresh. Lime juice was refreshing and not too sweet. Kuehs were also nice and chewy, not too dry (as I don't like kuehs elsewhere which are usually too dry). Service was good; staff brought over sharing plates for 2 of us and was courteous.

One of my fav dishes at this buffet was the salted egg chicken but there are so many dishes that are worth trying here and for the price of about $30 it’s so worth it. The head chef is from Penang and even sources his ingredients from there making sure everything is as authentic as possible. The salted egg chicken is slightly sweet but well balanced out with the savory salted egg sauce. The chicken is crispy on the outside but tender on the inside making it so so addictive. The flavor of the curry leaves come through nicely as well.

Other dishes worth trying: Kueh Pie Tee, Satay, Lorbak, Beef Rendang, Nasi Lemak, Prawn noodle

Kueh salat was quite average. 1st time eating kueh Tai Tai with kaya. Not too bad. Kueh was salty and kaya was sweet. I usually don’t like this combi but this one was acceptable, cos kaya was not very sweet.

Kueh lapis was ok only. Kueh kosui was lovely. The caramelized sugar taste was smoky and deep. But it was not sweet. I loved it. Abok abok sago was so rich and creamy it melted in my mouth.
