It was a surprise to hit the centre of the roll and realise it’s bursting with coconut in gula melaka , just like a real ondeh ondeh! That was lovely! The pandan though, was trying slightly too hard

When I cut into the puff, I was delighted to see how thin the choux pastry was and the inside was just filled to the brim. That ultra smooth and creamy custard was redolent of matcha and the fragrance truly stood out but not in an overwhelming (or bitter) way. The custard wasn’t overly sweet and hence didn’t taste heavy or cloying. The choux pastry was light and airy which was another plus point. Even the pretty sugared flower was yummy too. 😋👍🏼
