Was quite meh - the rice wasn’t very plump nor sticky like how typical Japanese rice is supposed to be; the chicken cubes were decently tender and eggs runny, but somehow the dish tasted very flat. The sauce was runny but not too sweet/salty, but it made the rice taste a bit like wet rice lol. Wished there were more stewy soft caramelised onions to add more flavour! Although it wasn’t terrible, it’s still a meh and I wouldn’t recommend, will not order again too. Go for their karaage / curry, that looks better! The udon my friend ordered was decent only.

- Chicken Karaage Lunch Set 🍱⁣⁣⁣

Crispy, juicy and tender chicken karaage! Just as yummy as before~ Well-marinated, not that salty, and the chicken parts seemed to be the thigh meat, can’t get enough of them really!

Generous portion, super filling indeed, hence, asked for half bowl of rice only…

The side dishes were not fixed, this round were the pickled radish and cabbage, refreshed the tastebud totally~

Not forgetting the miso soup and tea…

Though price increased but the taste & standard were just as good…

Usually go for their salmon but decided to try their chicken karaage for a change.

Am surprised by how crispy yet juicy and tender the chicken karaage were! They were well-marinated, not that salty, and the chicken parts seemed to be the thigh meat, can’t get enough of it really!

Generous portion and because it’s so tasty, I wouldn’t mind the food coma seriously!

The side dishes were not fixed, this round were the braised radish with carrot, onion and some small chicken cubes, and pickled radish and cabbage, quite nice and well prepared too.

Not forgetting the miso soup and tea.

A satisfying and super filling lunch indeed~

Highly recommended~~~

Came by for dinner with friends and ordered plenty of food (not all in photo). Everything was great! We tried the gyoza, beef cubes, karaage, takoyaki, age geso (fried squid), agedashi tofu, potato fries. I will highly recommend the karaage! Unfortunately the shio chicken is very dry.

The beer was cheap with the promo of $24 for jug of beer and $40 for a tower. Overall spent $153 for 5 pax (we ordered 2 jugs of beer, 1 glass of beer, 1 chu-hi, 1 calpis soda)

The set meals look very afforable and i would totally visit again with friends!

Simple and affordable lunch set round the ‘hood. The chicken chunks were HUGEEE (don’t be fooled by the picture) and I couldn’t finish it at all, send halp
