‼️ i patronise jewel very often as if its my 2nd hm bt the outside version & so thrs this 1 lvl tht i roam arnd almost everytime im thr; u guessed it: the basement. its my food heaven 🌟 & ive chanced upon these aesthetically pleasing cinnamon rolls! ive only tried the ones frm Star Cinnamon & im a sucker for it, whenever im at Bugis, I’ll make sure go back late to catch the night deals 🤣 & so @rrooll.sg caught my eyes! got to know tht its under my bestfriend’s lobang (my dearest @burpple) so I immediately grabbed a set of 4 @ $10 😍✨

Here’s what ive gotten! :-)
✅ Garlic Onion Cheese
✅ Matcha Cinnamon
✅ Hawaiian
✅ Hazelnut Royal

texture wise, hawaiian has the softest & breadie texture (not forgetting its zesty tomato sauce which deceives u in thinking tht ure eating a 🍕) compared to the others which was slightly crumbly n on the drier side! altho garlic onion cheese was the most enticing to me… was pretty disappointed w the fillings inside as the taste wasnt as complex as what the name suggests! 😓😓 likewise the matcha, it wasnt matchalicious enuf to claim to be a matcha roll bt perfect for matcha beginners! 🤗

didnt heat up my rolls bt i was wondering it it would be nicer if ive followed their recommended instructions? 🤭 anyws… im aiming to try their other flavours soon so do keep a look out keke! ✨

non-Burpple foodies can grab them @ 4 for $13 (provided if the promotions are still on!) usual prices are up to $3.90 so its rly worth for my Burpple Buddies 🤓

The roll was really soft and had the layers. But couldn’t really taste the cinnamon, was more a hazelnut chocolate bread.

My biggest gripe with cinnamon rolls is that they are either too sweet or too hard, but the rolls here were perfectly done. Even after keeping it in my fridge for a couple of days, the rolls tasted so soft and good after heating them up.

I tried the hazelnut Roche and cinnamon rolls, would love to try the rest the next time I visit jewel!

Cinnamon, Cocoa orange, Hazelnut Roche & Garlic Onion Cheese ($10)
It’s $10 for 4 using burpple, if not it would be $13. So save $3. I think most of their pastries are sweet, the only one that is savoury is the garlic onion cheese which taste like garlic bread.
Might try other flavours like Hawaiian, Japanese curry, Sweet Cheese & Cinnamon Apple. But would also buy all Garlic Onion cheese because I think it will go well with mushroom soup. It’s more satisfying to eat the whole bread whole dipping it in soup. 👍🏻

These rolls were really soft and fluffy! Surprised that we actually liked the original best. Good service from the cashier too who offered to heat up the rolls and provided us utensils too. Will purchase again!

These rolls are as nice as they look, my favourite being the rocher flavoured one! They sell savoury flavours like Hawaiian, which are for the adventurous. The rolls taste best when warm, so be sure to pop them in the microwave/oven, otherwise the texture is quite hard. Compared to star cinnamon, there's a lot less cream and more cinnamon, so less gelatness which is a plus for me! Value for money at 4 for $10, will repurchase again if I'm back at Jewel!
