Awesome way to start a morning with this cuppa to warm your soul! Bestest!

Economy rice stall by day, kway chap stall by night; this stall's claim to fame isn't just that it opens for dinner and supper till the wee hours of morning.
.
Their soy braised pig offals are clean-tasting, with a good variety of cuts, all at affordable prices.
.
The wide flat kway teow / rice noodles is served in a light soy and herb broth, the slippery smooth sheets picking up the salty sweet flavour well.
.
It's easy to pick and choose the sides, with crunchy preserved mustard greens with vegetal sour salty sweet flavour, spongy dried tofu puffs with salty savoury herbal earthy flavour, and bouncy soy braised chicken egg with eggy salty sweet notes.
.
For pig offals, the tender large intestines have salty savoury herbal earthy flavour, the gelatinous braised pig's skin carries fatty salty savoury herbal flavour, and the tender braised pork belly has meaty salty savoury herbal flavour.

Having your desserts served hot and topped with ice-cream is always a plus for me. The vanilla ice-cream was quite frageant, and I did enjoy the crumble.

These were really greasy and calamari was quite chewy/ rubbery.

Overall pretty pricey esp for the mid food, but you're paying for the view so I guess it was still worth a stay!

A pretty huge pizza great for sharing, and loved that it was really cheesy with a good cheese pull too. Would love even more pulled pork though, and not sure if it was the BBQ sauce that was giving some sort of siapsiap after taste hmm..

Huge chunks of Swiss brown mushrooms sauteed with garlic, chilli, and basil oil - Was pretty average overall.

The risotto had pretty strong beefy flavours, and the beef cheeks had a weirdly soft but chewy (?) texture instead of the usual tender ones.

Finally gave @coastessg a try while enjoying the beach views, sunset and people (kids) watching for an entire evening till night 🌇🤩!

Fish and Chips ($26)
Beer-battered haddock which came with a crispy exterior and not too greasy! Thick cut fries were decent but nothing special.

With the concept of combining an Art gallery with shaved Ice, @artice_sg just gives pretty zen/ chill vibes where you could just sit and unwind there.

Pistachio Kakigori ($22)
As a huge fan of pistachio, I definitely could not give this a miss! The shaved ice was soft, and there's drizzle of pistachio base syrup over the shaved ice, but you don't really get much of those nutty pistachio flavours from the ice alone. The main source of pistachio flavours comes from the pistachio cream that's added at the top of the shaved ice, but it's also pretty sweet and less of those intense nutty pistachio flavours I was expecting.

This was also made with Shochu, and was pretty sour but great for those who like sour drinks!

Note that there is 1 drink order per person, and a little 😮 for their drink prices which start from $9++ (including soft drinks - because it used to be $3-$4 for soft drinks when I last visited).Â
