I’ve succumbed to laksa in Sydney! Seeing it in Thai, Chinese, southeast Asian, so many different restaurants, I’ve finally ventured to try it at Spice Alley’s Alex Lee’s kitchen. It’s curry bee hoon though, with delicious fried pork! Very nice curry with generous serving of rice vermicelli enough for two. Not laksa but good.

not sure why they have to serve it in plastic disposable bowls. Be prepared as the curry will splash, white is not recommended. The fish goes for about $14AUD. I recommend it for someone looking for a hot bowl of noodles. Also available with chicken, vege or beef. #latergram #laksainsydney #drklingeats

Located at Kensington Rd, a stone throw away from Central Station, its very easy to access.

The food joints range from Singaporean, Malaysian, Japanese, Thai, Hongkong, Korean, Vietnamese. Interestingly, the Singaporean joint carries Indian and Indonesian Food.

The stretch featured stalls with food from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Japan, etc. For prices similar to that in the local food court, this place was much more trendy and enjoyable to dine at.
For my craving for something spicy, I tried the SG laksa from the Alex Lee stall. The option for pork cutlet was a good one, as they were nicely fried and certainly went well with the laksa. Labelled as the Katong Laksa, I was rather proud that it tasted good, better than the Katong stall I had back home lately actually.
Spice Alley would be a good recommendation for anyone who wants a taste of Asian cuisine here in Sydney. What's better, The #koidessertbar was just located next to it for a sweet ending after meal.
