The Prawn Aglio Olio ($16) is the bomb - the tiger prawns are huge, crunchy and succulent, and the al dente linguine tossed in olive oil, garlic confit, mushroom, chilli and Italian parsley is very aromatic. Love this!
Steepās Breakfast ($19) comes with sourdough toast, eggs, turkey bacon, herb sausage, avocado, sautĆ©ed mushroom, mixed greens, tater tots and roasted tomato. This is a very hearty big breakfast and I love the variety found in one plate.
Ordered their famous french toast and crab linguine. The french toast did not disappoint and I enjoyed the hints of thyme in the maple syrup, it helped to break up the sourness of the berry jam. Really worth a try! The crab linguine was good too, not too salty. However, I wouldnāt order it again just because Iām not a fan of crab..
Overall, it was a good experience! Quiet cafe with good food, hope to see more options available on the menu in the future.
This breakfast set comes with herb sausage, avocado, mushrooms, mixed greens, tater tots, roasted tomato, sourdough bread and choice of egg. We selected their scrambled eggs which is creamy but not as runny as we would preferred. Taste wise nothing much to highlight but it is a very decent and affordable brunch set which comes with so many ingredients for a nett price of $19.
We both had Steepās Breakfast with sunny side up and pouch eggs. They are delicious and not oily, cooked to perfection. I especially love the bacon which are thick slices and not hard.

egg-ish on the outside and then soft and fluffy on the inside, the brioche slices were made to perfection! 4 chunky slices of those werenāt enough to fill me but the textures were really so damn satisfying š¤©
even better, the dish was topped with berry compote that was nicely sour! there was a generous scoop of mascarpone cheese which had no distinct taste imo⦠it contributed to the overall aesthetic of the dish tho! š¤ the dish was also topped with multiple sorts of seasonal fruits so yummy so pretty š house-made maple granola was slightly too bitter for my liking⦠maybe it was overly charred or something idk HAHAH but i loved the honey thyme syrup! was less viscous than i expected it to be but tasted sweet with a hint of flowery-ness sooo pretty unique and definitely fitting for the toasts š
