Value for money with Burpple Beyond. The tonkotsu garlic ramen was decent

Truffle Udon ($11.80) I found the soup base was a less salty at least putting with truffle paste and reducing saltiness of the soup. The udon was a bit hard, not that chewy feel and probably due to rinse udon too fast at hot water. I chose pumpkin ($1.20) at tempura section.

I felt so disappointed by udon standard was not consistent compared to previous closed outlet at Liang Court but with truffle udon was not that bad and hopefully to stay
on the menu permanently.

Pork Egg Udon ($8.80) My sister found the soup base was too salty already but the udon was a bit hard, not that chewy feel and probably due to rinse udon too fast at hot water. I didn't know need to add lime inside the soup base for reducing saltiness of the soup. My sister chose Crabstick ($1.20), Fried Horse Mackerel ($2.20) and Chicken Gyoza ($2.00) at tempura section

$13.6 (including drink). This was my second time here and I tried the curry udon and no regrets! For someone who doesn’t really like the traditional udon, this was good for me. Loved that it came with the onsen egg and also added some of the toppings (spring onion, tempura bits, seaweed).

As self explanatory as the shop name, this place sells a variety of udon, more so than the one at NEX. I got the beef udon with onsen egg, it was better than expected, the soup was deliciously salty. The sides - fried fish cake and chicken cutlet were unfortunately not hot and hence not worth the $2+ per piece )-:

Had the Sanuki beef egg udon, the texture of the udon was delightful and the beef was soft and juicy.. only gripe is with the relatively small portion size
