We used to travel specially to Queensway Shopping Centre to queue for ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ด๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ธ๐๐ฎ but now they have open more outlets and can be found in Wisma Food Republic, Roxy Sq, 331 Paya Lebar Rd & even Chinatown Point! โ
โ
In Chinatown Point, the aka carte Laksa are priced at regular $5.50 & large $7.50. We couldnโt resist our temptation so we had to order the large bowl๐ฌ. Noodles were cut shorter so no chopsticks were needed, thereโs beansprouts, fish cakes, prawns and cockles! Laksa gravy were super fragrant with coconut taste, light and not too thick and jelak! Goes super well with their sambal chilli sauce too, itโs not too spicy and taste is just right! Super duper shiok and comforting! One of our to-go Laksa place whenever we have cravings! โ

They offer online delivery to your comfort doorstep too:โ

Super generous fillings and gravy is lemak enough. Otah soft and yummy. Will be back again as I love laksa!
Love the creamy and rich laksa soup. Not as spicy but with strong coconut flavour. One of my favourite laksa place

Googled where to eat near Bartley and this came up! It was quite a controversy as to who was the first Katong Laksa.. as it turns out Janggut Laksa is the first. Drama aside. I quite enjoyed this bowl of Crayfish Laksa, although not cheap at $9.50 but the fresh crayfish was worth the buck! The crayfish meat can be easily peeled from the shell, attest to the fact that it is fresh. What makes a good bowl of laksa is the gravy. The gravy here is creamy and not that spicy which suits my palate really well. Can taste the umami from the prawns in it as well! Will be back!
Rich gravy and super yummy! But can be more generous with the portion... Expected more for a large bowl.
