The stall is located within the hawker centre at queen street (near the temple) which is pretty easy to spot with its prominent signage (swipe to the end). The thunder tea soup had a robust, pleasant earthy note that actually exceeded my expectations for a hawker stall. Atop the bed of brown rice (white rice is also available), an assortment of greens: cabbage, long beans, spinach, tofu cubes, turnips, ikan bilis, floss and peanuts (which I requested to be omitted). The different elements provided a crunchy, juicy mouthfeel to the grainy brown rice which also resulted in a flavourful outcome. Pair it with the hot thunder tea soup for a hearty, wholesome yet satisfying and guilt/free meal! A place I would highly recommend for thunder tea rice, given its pocket-friendly pricing and substantial portion. 💚
