Wanton mee here made with a 70-year-old recipe. Food is decent but noodles had that alkaline taste which kinda affected the taste of the noodles. But texture was good. Also really like the wantons, very meaty and juicy.

Old school wanton mee.

Avaliable in chilli, tomato, dark soya sauce.

Decided to have a spicy tomato mix.
And it was good.

Char siew nothing fantastic.

Avaliable in $3.50,$4,$4.50 portion.

Very long queue during lunch time. Waited around 30+ mins

There are 2 popular wanton mee stalls in this hawker centre and this is one of them. The noodles and sauce (seasoning) were good, but char siew and wantons average. Still a very decent plate of wanton mee overall and one that i would visit again if iโ€™m in the area.

Choose among ketchup, chilli sauce or dark sauce. As conventional wisdom goes, a wanton mee is the sum of its parts, and your preferences define their success. Wanton and char siew here are forgettable, but noodle and seasoning are exceptional.
