Takashimaya exclusive! Honestly, it’s on the bland side but it tasted v clean which I liked and I ADORED the chestnuts because they were superrrrr sweet.
the soba is...hot?? Not that I mind bcoz it’s smth interesting & the noodles didn’t turn soggy. selected Salmon Okowa & this was the MOST flavourful out of the 3 we had!
really loved this set! the karaage is a MUST GET it’s so juicy & sweet. selected Scallop Okowa but it was pretty bland & scallops weren’t sweet so I’d recommend opting for another rice!
Salmon shio set with unagi and salmon okowa. Although it was glutinous rice, it was light, slightly chewy and extremely flavourful as the unagi and salmon was well mixed with rice. Salmon was grilled to perfection without it being too dry or hard.
