The standouts were the truffle sakura ebi pasta and the ohmi A4 truffle beef bowl.

😭 Featuring some throwback dishes on our last visit to Yoyogi! Sashimi sampler of uni, toro, and ikura, along with unagi served with cucumber and wakame. Both simple and delicious dishes 😋 - 👵🏻 #burpple #throwback

Now you know why I said EVRRYTHING IS JUST TT GOOD? 😑 I'm still missing all the flavors and dishes from dinner that night.

Truffle, cod roe, Sakura ebi. It's a party in your mouth 😋

One of the few outstanding dishes from the omakase.
Everything tasted really good, indescribable in words 😭

Consists of a Appetiser Platter, Assorted Sashimi, Sushi Combination, Grilled Mackerel, Cold Inaniwa Udon, Tuna Consommé & Green Tea Ice Cream. 🍱

The Grilled Mackerel is the best among all, it's Buttery & Sweet. The Soba, Sashimi & Nigiri Sushi was pretty normal, the Tamago was way too sweet & the Appetiser had nothing to shout about. 🍣

ACAMASTIPS💮: I suggest you either try their Nigiri Sushi Course (💵S$55) or go all out for their dinner courses or Omakase which is available during lunch as well. 🖖🏻

🍣

The Ohmi Beef was well Marbled, Medium & it Melts in your mouth. The Onsen Egg compliments the sushi rice & the Truffles. 🍳
The egg yolk adds another dimension of Richness, paired with the Fragrance of the Truffle. It is truly divine, if only the portion could be more generous. 😋

ACAMASTIPS💮: There are other better Wagyu Truffle Don out there, but the price alone is already more than the Truffle set here at Yoyogi. However, I'd rather get it from places like Aoki, Tatsuya, Murasaki & etc due to the portion & overall satisfaction. 🖖🏻

🍣

The Amberjack was sliced thinly, Seasoning was on point & the Black Truffle was quite Generous. A good start from the Truffle Course, I'd appreciate it more if it was Freshly Shaved Truffles. 🍶
The Truffle wasn't that fragrant as expected but still a good start. 🎏

ACAMASTIPS💮: I'd Highly Recommend one to try their more Affordable & Reasonably priced Lunch Course meal (Starting at 💵S$30) before heading to Dinner Omakase (💵S$150-S$250) 🖖🏻

Yoyogi is one of my favourite dinner places to go to satisfy my sashimi cravings or my jap food cravings! The sashimi served are extremely fresh and I recommend the yellowtail fish sashimi with truffle, it's infused with just the right amount of truffle and one plate feels like it isn't enough!! Generally, I feel that everything on the menu is very satisfying and the portions are just right so you won't feel too guilty after a meal! I wouldn't say that this is the best, and I wouldn't say that the food is bad, it's very satisfying in general. I wouldn't die for the food here everyday but whenever I start to crave jap food, this is the place for me to go :)

Loved the faint truffle scent on the cold angel hair with crispy ebi flakes and fish roe. It was really a magical harmony that kept replaying

Fresh cuts of varying fishes, loved the plump hotate and flounder the most!! Oiishi!

This is one of my favorite dish from Yoyogi. The rice melts in the mouth adding flavour from the tuna and salmon roe that complets our appetite!

This wasn't part of my Omakase set (I chose to have the Wagyu Beef with Black Truffle bowl instead) but it looked so tempting I couldn't help cast sidelong greedy glances at it anyway 👀

Let's just say my face beamed with bliss from start to finish. Here's what I had:
1) Chilled tofu with century egg sauce: Can't go wrong with this appetiser.
2) Seasonal Japanese broadbean: Firm and buttery with a nice sprinkle of salt.
3) Amberjack sashimi topped with freshly-shaved black truffle: Amazing! Another one please!
4) Mixed sashimi of fatty tuna, scallop, shrimp, tuna and seabass: Very, very fresh.
5) Grilled blackthroat: The slightly oily fish was wonderfully complemented by the crisp skin and a smoky fragrance.
6) Garlic sea snails: The flesh is similar to escargot but with a finer texture. Sauce is yummy.
7) Chawanmushi with ikura: The way that silky-smooth steamed egg and superbly fresh salmon roe made music together was pure magic.
8) Wagyu beef with black truffle and onsen egg: Every element in the bowl tasted stupendous. Besides the amberjack sashimi with black truffle, this was my other favourite.
9) Steamed Tuna Soup: A lovely consommé that's sweet with fish and mushroom.
10) Yuzu sorbet (not pictured): My meal closed on this light and refreshing note.

In summary, I can see Yoyogi becoming one of my go-to places when I want to pamper myself with an indulgent Japanese meal 😄

This came with the set. Creamy, smooth and the perfect way to wind down from an exquisite lunch.

Part of the Ladies' lunch set at Yoyogi. Silky, slippery tofu with a tangy sesame dressing and excellent cuts of chutoro + to-die-for tamagoyaki.

Gloriousssss. So delicious i cannot even describe. 6 tender slices of perfectly aburi-ed beef topped with slivers of truffle. Even the bed of rice nesting below was flavoured with yuzu and more truffle. This is truly a dish to be had, either ala carte at $45 or as part of the exquisite Truffle Lunch set at $75.
