Saw that this received a Michelin recommendation. Coffee was good but not the best. Kaya toast was a disaster. Bread wasn’t properly toasted and looked pretty sad. You’re better off getting some your kaya toast fix from ya kun.
Fans of traditional toast ($1.20) this is worth the queue. Thick butter.. so satisfying.
Ice lemon tea ($1.70) taste like thick and refreshing just like homemade. So good.
Velvety smooth, moccha like which is the hallmark of good local coffee. Michelin awarded in 2016 - it’s definitely worthy.
Price: $1.10 per cup

Good morning, everyone! Have you had your coffee yet? The ones here are full-bodied and thick, definitely a good engine starter! Come here for the coffee and not any other drinks though. The weekends are almost here, everyone!
I’m really particular about the roast of the beans. Burning it gives such a distinct bitter finish that gives such a screwed scrunch I can’t deny.
It was very mildly burnt coffee beans here and intensely strong a cup of caffeine.
But I thought it otherwise lacked depth/ aroma
6.5/10
This coffee stall has one of the longest queues in the market and I can see why. The toast ($1.20) is soft while the milk tea ($1.10) is very flavourful. Cheap & good!
