This is different from the usual crab beehoon that you get from other stalls which is usually in a white/milky base soup. The gravy/soup is filled with umami flavours and every mouth of the thin beehoon is embodied with it. The crabs are also very fresh. Crab cravings satisfied!! 😃

Not v impressive. The stock is fine but can't rlly taste what's in it, the seafood taste isn't strong at all. There isn't much crab taste, not much wok hei, nor was the crab v sweet(average quality)

Pretty pricey for this quality. Maybe they used to be much better but not much reason to visit now, I've had a few crab beehoons and while they were all highly raved, it doesn't change the fact that this was the least impressive I've had so far

Stir Fried Dragon chives ($17) was disappointing. tasted bland and could use a little more seasoning.

Coffee pork ribs ($23) was tender and I especially love the bits of crispy edges. Coffee flavour wasn’t too overpowering as well with a good balance of sweet and bitterness making the dish very palatable.

The most unique dish of the night was the Fried Salted Golden Corn ($16). It is corn fried in salted egg sauce and a smaller portion is recommended to share as the corn can get pretty jerlat after awhile.

Ambience: 4/10 (We were seated near the toilet, had to borrow chairs from other tables and help clean up the table ourselves, the restaurant was busy and noisy the entire evening and servers was not friendly at all.. THAT SAID, dining at Long Ji was still worth it because the food was really good!)

Taste: 9/10 (I am not a crab fanatic like most of my family members are but wow this crab beehoon tasted really amazing. The wokhey from the beehoon that was stir fried with a copious amount of garlic, and the thick, flavourful broth are perfect when combined. SO GOOD. Other dishes worth ordering include the drunken prawns in claypot, stir fried meesua, coffee pork ribs and green dragon vegetable stir fried with garlic!!! 😍)
