I must say, good choice to myself 👏 I love how the Cajun flavour is just right and the chicken meat is sooooo tender! I love that the meat is still warm when served to us. The cheese sauce (I think) goes pretty well with the chicken though! Once you eat, you can't stop! This is really really good. 👍👍 two thumbs up! 😄 I wish I'm having this for lunch now!

Panna cotta black sesame pudding served with homemade black sesame ice cream. This came highly recommended.

Perhaps I'd been so spoilt by the perfectly seasoned rice and sashimi at Sushi Dai at Tsukiji Market, Tokyo, that it's hard to find satisfaction in the sashimi here. Or perhaps it's the overhyped reputation of this restaurant that led to my overall disappointment in this lacklustre rice bowl, which had albeit thick cuts of tamago yaki, salmon, tuna, swordfish, yellowtail and ikura.

This newly opened cafe in Clarke Quay certainly brightens up your mood with their vibrant yellow cups and cheerful ambience. They serve premium coffee pulled from the top-of-the-line La Marzocco Strada machine, along with simple pastries, waffles and ciabatta lunch sets. Give their signature "Croiffins" (a croissant-muffin hybrid) a try if you're up for something new! Photo by Sheryl Sherbakes

Incredibly spacious and conveniently located in Lasalle College of the Arts, this is a good spot for working in groups in a vibrant atmosphere. Great for grabbing wallet-friendly light bites for lunch or tea time, or evening drinks with a cold cider, you can come here anytime. They sometimes hold events and live performances here in the evenings, so do check out the schedule before you head down! Photo by Charlene Tan
