Who DOESN'T need some fried chicken in the wee hours of the morning? Thankfully, there's Kko Kko Na Ra to provide just that. Specialising in what they call 'KFC' (Korean Fried Chicken), their famous wings come in 4 flavours - original, soy garlic sauce, sweet & spicy, and hot & spicy. For a taste of everything, get their chicken combo set, which comes in original/ sweet/ garlic flavours. They only close at 3am - a great place to quell those late-night, post drinking hunger pangs.

Inspired by a certain dish in US which he tasted then to be "the best thing I've had", this is what executive chef Benjamin declares to be the usurper of that title. I can see why - the strange combination of melt-in-the-mouth foie gras on crisp toasted brioche works surprisingly and superbly well with sweet elements of dark chocolate ganache and mashed bananas, crunchy granola crumbs and smokey bacon jam. I don't know if this is THE best thing I've ever had, but it certainly ranks among the top and for a non-foie gras fan like me, that's saying a lot.

Tenderloin in Gorgonzola cheese sauce. Totally loving the cheese sauce! Wish they had given more! I blame @lennardy for his delicious looking steak that caused me to have a craving for beef!

We hear that the sauce used in the Mentaiko Cream Pasta is really yummy! Other pastas include pesto chicken linguine and prawn aglio olio. Photo by Burppler Valerie Han #Burpple

Freshly fried fries drenched in a salty homemade gravy and melted cheese. The gravy reminded me of marmite, except less bitter. This isn't super amazing, but it was extremely ADDICTIVE and we had 2 servings of it! 😱 You can add steak, chicken or bacon to your Poutine at an extra charge.

Buttermilk fried chicken was absolutely lips smacking and it goes totally well with their big poppa hot sauce!

Serving specialty burgers modelled after the legendary Blascows burgers from Tokyo, Wildfire Kitchen + Bar is the new place to visit. The Classic 001 burger is a must-try -- two epically soft buns sandwiching a Wagyu patty, with golden cheddar and beer caramelised onions playing tasty supportive roles. Charcoal-grilled premium meats and fresh seafood from their signature INKA closed door grill also grace the menu. Happy Hours are from 6-8pm, so pair your burgers with $9 craft beers for an excellent man's night out, although we can see many-a-woman scoffing down this meat-heavy fare too!

This brand new tasting-menu restaurant helmed by Johnston Teo (formerly from Jaan and The Tippling Club) is the latest addition to Loh Lik Peng's Unlisted Collection. Contributing to Singapore's understanding of the growth of "bistronomy", Sorrel's space channels a chic bistro vibe while serving you really, really good food expected of a far stiffer restaurant. Lunches come in either three ($45) or five courses ($88), while dinners are available in five or seven courses ($118). The food here is often exciting and startling in both texture and flavour combination -- prepare to be wowed by their Pumpkin with Coconut and Smoked Eel, and the Roasted Langoustine with Pan-seared Foie Gras with Morel Mushrooms.
