Doesn't Rachel make them sound delectable? 'Pancakes with Gula Melaka Butterscotch. The salted gula melaka (palm sugar) over those plush pancakes is to die for. I walloped more than half of this. Just. Couldn't. Stop. Eating. For non-Singaporeans, "shiok" is a word to describe a feeling of utter bliss.' Photo by Rachel Xie.
This brand new cafe along Evans Road highly recommends their salted caramel waffles, which are light, fluffy and tasty. The coffee here is decent too. Needless to say, this cafe will please the Bukit Timah folks! Photo by Alain Foodology.
Already known for their great brunch items, such as their Flan (which you should get before these waffles), Symmetry also nails the waffle. At $14, bananas, strawberries, peanut butter, hazelnut chocolate, maple syrup and vanilla ice cream sit atop crispy, fluffy waffles. Get an extra scoop of blueberry ice cream for a near-perfect dish! At $12.90, this amazing Waffles Stacko is truly a steal. A great choice when you're in the town area, this simple cafe is great for indulging in ice cream and hot, crispy waffles. Perfect for students and groups of friends, get a nice big stack to share! If you're a small party, go for the Sinfully Chocolate or the Merry Berry. Photo by Rachelle Ling.
Creamier's long queues and licked-dry plates are testament to the truly addictive nature of their ice cream and waffles. Expect to queue even on a weeknight, but it's seriously worth it. Two perfectly crisp waffles stay firm below two scoops of dense ice cream. Go for the Salted Caramel Gula Melaka and the Roasted Pistachio. Photo by Geraldine Tay.
From the newly opened The Little Prince Creamery that serves as an extended outlet of the original The Little Prince Cafe at Somme Road. The waffles here are the classic sort; eggy and buttery batter. Here, it's done soft, fluffy and moist, while the Earl Grey Latte ice-cream was fragrant but also a wee bit too milky. Interestingly the maple syrup did nothing much to the waffles and seemed unworthy of its $0.50 price tag.
the place to go to for awesome Mao Shan wang ice cream!
Cookies&cream/Teh tarik~
Great taste in salted caramel and tim tam chunks found in horlicks tim tam! Waffle also has fragrance of eggs! Nice combination along with the chocolate fudge!
One of the best homemade salted caramel sauces I've ever had is liberally drizzled over crisp, light egg white waffles with a scoop of milky vanilla ice cream.
Berries and mashed bananas buried under golden-brown crumble and topped with ice cream make up this juicy dessert.
