Not the cheapest lok lok on offer, but still very tasty.
Each stick deep fried and doused in msg powder for that extra kick.
Has a wide variety of sticks.
Ranging from 1rm to 5rm each.
Drinks easily available from shop itself, or nearby petrol statoon
Chicken has been well marinated with a concoction of spices before being lightly fried.
Remember to add chilli which has hints of lime.
Pretty reasonable, $1 per vegetable dish, another 59 cents for rice.
Chili has a good kick.
But can be a bit oily at times
Soup was tasty and packed with vegetables, but the dumpling skin was a bit too thick.
They do give a lot of rice though
A little disappointed the stall uses only disposable utensils and crockery. 😭
$5 for 4 vegetable dishes. Enjoyed the richness of the gravy.
Generous amounts!
Hidden gem in sengkang. Green curry ($6) was rich and packed with flavour. The garlic pork ($8) is great too as they spam the garlic.
Had the mango pomelo sago pudding and it was great! Refreshing flavours to cleanse the palate.
Excellent service too.
Half expected basic substandard pub food but was pleasantly surprised. Fish was light and crisp. The nachos were a generous portion too.
What impressed me the most was the branding. Very consistent and you will know you were in a football themed cafe. Even the toilets had football related items!
Very fragrant waffles. Got the pandan mochi waffles which elevates your regular waffles with that stretchy bouncy mochi texture.
Where can you find $4 hokkien mee/fried rice/hor fun in dhoby ghaut?
With air con too?
Ask for less oil.
Spicy arriabata pasta. A tad bit oily, but generous amount of sauce and seafood. As with the other pastas ive tried here, prawns are always fresh and juicy.
Fyi this place is halal
The chicken was super tender and not dry at all. Not very accessible but its a good hidden gem.
Also tried the laksa pasta and it was literally that - pasta in laksa gravy.
Wanted to try their ice cream but was too full.
