#doichaang is my very first wish list in #burpple and now I'm finally here! Their Hokkaido chocolate milk mile crepe is damn nice! I tried their earl grey mile crepe too, it was just soso and abit too creamy . Will try matcha mile crepe next time. Boyfie love their iced latte so much! This is the first cafe that he keep repeating he want to pay a second visit 😄

Marie's baked egg. Something new and special which is cannot find in other cafe. Tomato sauce + egg + Spanish + mushroom and mozzarella cheese pair with fresh bread . Yes a bit weird but taste good! Good try!

I cannot get enough of the cutest Swiss rolls ever!!!! They look and taste good!! And paired with a Teh C! They make the perfect tea break set!!! This place is literally next to nex too, so it's super convenient!!

The former was enjoyable in its masculine sweetness, like an NSF Commando officer with his girlfriend. However, despite its whiffs of alcohol, the cake tasted rather flat and tired, like the same officer after outfield exercise. Coffee: 4/5 Cake: 3.25/5

This cafe is known to be a specialist in freshly baked tarts, making them from scratch daily on the premises. I have been here quite a few times since it opened a couple of years ago. On my most recent visit, I noticed they now offer even more tempting choices. One of which is this Dark Chocolate Banana Tart.
The chocolate element begins from the bottom with a crisp, dark chocolate biscuit type of base. Next came a thin layer of dark, semi-sweet chocolate ganache. Piled higgledy-piggledy on top of that are big chunks of bananas. These have been rolled around in the same gorgeous thick, dark chocolate ganache prior, so they're absolutely divine. A heavy sprinkle of cocoa powder adds the final touch to this awesome dessert.

I'm sure d'Good Cafe is pretty serious about its coffee since it even ages its own beans, but something else interests me more - the latte art! Pardon me and my frivolity, but the barristers here make some of the cutest latte art. Look at that totoro - who can resist?? There are many cafes with impressive latte art, some even 3D, but what impresses me is that the baristas here pour the art. Like the circles that make up the soot ball, totoro, totoro's belly and the hearts. Don't know about you, but I'm awestruck. Other designs I've had include the teddy bear and cat. 😍 d'Good is a really nice place to chill. It has free wifi, abundant power points, and a nice conducive area (with cushions! Haha) on the 2nd floor that is frequently occupied by people reading or using their laptops. The mains and desserts are only average, so I'd recommend just getting a nice beverage to sip on :)

Got invited to try their improved waffle recipes. Sweet Waffles now get a choice of different batters; one that is more soufflé-like and the other which is crispy. This one was the former; I like the fluffiness of the waffles and there was a pretty evident dark chocolate flavour that exudes with each bite. Caramalised banana was soft and sweet, and the in-house vanilla ice-cream was smooth and creamy with its fragrance.
