Really enjoyed the Unagi Don here! There’s also a good selection of Izakaya food - the yakitori was nice and it was fun to try Tako Wasa (octopus sashimi with wasabi). We appreciated the welcome sake as well

A regular truffle been donburi is $28, but it’s also included in the Burpple 1 for 1, which makes it super worth it. The beef is tender, the sauce is delicious, the egg was cooked perfectly, and I also really liked the foie gras and caviar too.

In terms of drinks, my friend and I enjoyed:
- Crope Crop: a grape-based liquor that tastes like grape candy
- Rien: Japanese pear liquor that was light and really tasted like pears
- Sparkling Sake: sweet and like a white wine.

Would definitely go back again!

Came here for the first time to try the shiok Maki. Was pretty surprised at the queue on a weekday (definitely recommend making a reservation) but the food arrived promptly. Shiok maki was shiok, as expected, and we enjoyed the agedashi tofu and maguro tataki as well.

The food was great - soup was flavourful, noodles were springy, and there was a decent helping of meat. I really enjoyed it.

Not pictured but I went with friends and they had the truffle Tonkotsu udon (really strong truffle taste) and we shared some tempura (crispy, not too oily, overall delicious). Overall, we thought the food was worth it

Came here for dinner with the Burpple 1-for-1 and found it was quite worth it! The mains tasted great and the portions were pretty generous. And while the cheese platter (pictured) wasn’t part of the deal, we couldn’t resist ordering and really loved the variety that was served. It’s a huge portion for 2 people too.

The staff were friendly but the ordering system was a little glitchy - we had to order online (scan the QR code at the table) but the first time we ordered, one of our mains wasn’t entered into the system. Luckily, the staff helped us fix that.

Payment wasn’t online, thankfully!

My friends and I headed here because our original dinner place didn’t serve my meal for an hour. When the waitstaff (thanks, Ben!) heard about how hungry I was, he helped to expedite the order and the risotto arrived much faster than we were originally told. It tasted great - the truffle taste and smell was very strong, which I really liked - but we were probably most impressed by the service.

I’ve had this a few times and it has never disappointed! The chicken is tender and juicy and very tasty. I also enjoyed the BBQ beans. For $9, I think the amount of chicken, fries, and sides were pretty generous.

We came here for the afternoon tea and really enjoyed it! The food was all very good (especially the sesame puff and pistachio tart) and the amount was just right. We initially thought it wouldn’t be enough, but we were wrong.

Just one piece of advice: book the earliest slot you can get (3pm, ideally). Skai was pretty strict about everybody leaving at 5pm so if you come at 4ish you might end up having to rush.

This was pretty pricey (moreso than MBS or Fullerton’s afternoon tea) but the food is great and the views are amazing

Really enjoyed this! The scallops were fresh and went very well with the sauce on top. There are only two pieces of scallop, but they’re fairly big and sliced into several pieces. The rice was, as usual, excellent. I think my favourite is still the salmon mentaiko, but that’s because I’m a big fan of mentaiko in general.
