Big prawn hor fun - umami! Generally the dishes we had were pretty good! Even though we sitting at a table at the back alley, the breeze in the open compensated for the atmosphere! Will be back!

They've got a fairly extensive menu of all-day breakfasts, pastas, salads, and a couple of mains. But how often do we get to have breakfast for lunch? The Tuscan Eggs were a simple affair; two runny eggs baked in a sea of Parmesan cheese and juicy mushrooms. Served with your choice of sourdough toast or a short stack of two thin pancakes. The Loft Breakfast ($17.50) earned its stamp of approval from my dining partner as well.

Currently exclusive to Tuk Tuk Cha at Junction 8 is the Noodle menu where they offer a variety of soup and dry noodles in both regular portions (only for Beef Noodle Soup and Tom Yum Soup Noodle only) and Boat Noodle portions at $1.90. This is the mini portion, where you can get to try out different flavours at smaller sizes. The glass noodles are chewy, and the lone prawn was surprisingly bouncy and fresh — all swimming in a flavoursome Tom Yum broth that is all punchy with tangy, sweet and spicy flavours. Only gripe was that the broth seemed to be powered by MSG for flavours as I gulped the Iced Thai Milk Coffee hard right after each sip of the broth. Thought the staff could have been a little more organized; a problem that I have had at their other new outlet at Jurong Point as well.

Creamy, tangy, al dente linguine and slices of mushroom. Not a fan of onions, didn't realise it was cooked with it. It was an all right dish but not for the price of $18.

LOVEEEEEEDDDDD this baked eggs so much! In fact, my friend who just came back from Israel was pleased at how Middle Eastern this tasted. A wonderfully put together concoction of potatoes, egg, sausage and cheese, this pot was nothing less than satisfying and hearty. Oh and it came together with 4 slices of varying types of toast. A little too much for me, but for a variety seeker like me, it definitely proves to be very much value for money.
