I โค๏ธ Ramen.
Whenever Iโm near Tsujiri, I just have to get my Matcha fix!
Part of Sushi Tehโs Singapore National Day menu, couldnโt resist the novelty! This is actually quite yummy! Coconut milk infused short-grain rice wrapped around a piece of fried chicken, omelette and cucumber, topped with an otah slice and fried ikan bilis. Worth a try! ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
Throwback to the yummy lunch last weekend ๐ Thanks Eleanor for the recommendation - canโt go wrong with comforting Thai Basil Pork Rice and spicy Tom Yum Soup! ๐ Tastes as good as it looks, and at affordable prices too.
Quite yummy, although S$4.20 (not inclusive of the drink) is a tad pricey.
Late lunch today at Ya Kun - tried the Chicken Rendang Sandwich, paired with a surprisingly yummy cup of Teh Siu Dai today! ๐๐
Throwback to dinner with Eleanor earlier in the week. We both tried this place for the first time, food was alright, I particularly enjoyed the Kimchi Pork dish ๐
So... people in the office have started commenting that I eat weird stuff, but hey.. those are not weird at all, I just enjoy trying new flavours that look interesting, just like this new National Day release from Burger King - the Hainanese Tendergrill Chicken Burger!! It totally works for me! Absolutely loved the savoury ginger sauce (similar to Soup Restaurantโs Samsui Chicken dip), and you HAVE to top it with the special chilli sauce provided on the side - thatโs what makes it legitimately โHainanese Chickenโ! ๐๐๐คค Going to try the Rendang Burger soon too...
Trying the โMai Hum Chicken Laksa Pieโ at Starbucks, paired with a Hojicha Tea Latte. Microwaved pies tend to be a little dry, but the flavourโs quite subtle and I like digging in to real tau pok pieces in the pie! Not the best but worth a try, especially with the S$1 off items in the Local Delights menu from now till 3 August (check your Starbucks Rewards email).
but four!! Lol! Thanks Davis for alerting me to this, how could I not try Burger Kingโs new Teh Tarik Pie, right?! ๐๐ Got my colleagues to try it together at lunch today, itโs actually quite yummy! Not too sweet, I like it! (love their Taro Pie too, btw). In celebration of the upcoming Singapore National Day, give it a try and share your verdict too! ๐ธ๐ฌ
๐ฐ๐ฎ๐จ๐ฉ๐ช Part of Marina Squareโs #FoodiegramSundays, Cake Club is a pop-up concept open only on weekends (between 14 July - 26 August) at the Glasshouse @ The Roof Garden #03-03. July features selected sweets and cakes from several local favourites including:

Loooook at all those delectable, too-pretty-to-eat sweet treats! A feast for the eyes too! ๐ We had the Fried Salted Egg Avalanche with Vanilla Ice-Cream, Fried Orhni (yam paste) Avalanche with Coconut Gelato, Rubber Ducky (mango pomelo dessert inspired pudding that oddly resembles detergent!! ๐), Rosรฉ, Exotique, Pulut Hitam, Speculoos Cheesecake... seriously sugar overload!! ๐คค
THANKS Eleanor for letting me tag along for this tasting ๐
How could anyone see this and not be intrigued? Couldnโt resist the novelty, and just had to try them. The Chicken Rice flavour is really interesting! Distinct ginger kick.. yet sweet! The crunch is pretty addictive.
