Absolutely lovely Mexican eatery tugged away in some corner in little India. Price of the food ranges from $8-$12 without GST or service charge. Cheap beers (5 for $30) at before 7 as well. Food is also really amazing for the price.

I’ve only tried their chimichanga (ie fried burrito). And it’s a 100% that I will revisit this place! The burrito was so well fried!

Amazingly fluffy American Pancake. With a huge serving of blueberry compote on top, and smooth warm maple butter by the side. Need I say more? It’s huge for one person, so it’s best if you bring someone else to share this Pancake extravaganza.
Pro tip: they have 1 for 1 on weekdays before 2pm! (From 11am IIRC).

Loved the spring Onion pancake. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and it was quite a decent portion for $14.
The sides dishes were so amazing as well. They give you 12 different side dishes, from the usual kimchi to the unique apple salad! I would come here just for the side dishes!

Cooked to perfection. Good quality meat. Neither overly rare nor tough. The exterior had a good char! Highly recommended. Definitely a place to go to satisfy your Japanese beef cravings.

Prices are also good as the place is located at a hawker centre like place - i.e. No aircon! But the food is definitely worth the trip.

And the counter service was also amazing! The uncle was cheerful friendly and helpful :)

Not particularly nice. The cookie dough taste was lacking.
I think the scoop ice creams are better. Go for those instead.

Acai (pronounced as ah-sigh-ee) berry is a a superfood touted to have tremendous health benefits owing to the large quantity of antioxidant, heart healthy fats and fiber, amongst other nutrients, it has. This original Flower Bowl consist of an acai berry blended base that tastes just like berry blended smoothie, with a generous topping of granola and other fresh fruit toppings like banana and other superfood like chia seeds.

I quite enjoyed this acai bowl though I might not visit it as often as the price on the slightly steep side, and I very much still prefer my ice-cream as desert. Will likely revisit only if I am looking for a healthy desert option.

The soup was flavorful (albeit a little too salty) with a generous helping of fishball, meatball, prawn and abalone. However the noodle was quite a disappointment. Didn't like the texture of the noodle.

This is a must order at JB Ah Meng kitchen. It is chao ta but it just tastes so good! The 'chao ta' nature of the bee hoon gives it a good subtle crisp, which is divine when mixed with the smooth and silky bee hoon. It also has quite a strong burnt smell, which can be poison to some and gold to others, so if you can't stand such a smell you might want to avoid this.

Nice breakfast place in JB. Particularly liked the kaya toast!

Prawn Mee with (really) thick, tasty and fragrant prawn soup. Yumz. The prawns and ribs were also really fresh! A must get if you are at the old airport road hawker center.

Yum yum. A must get if you are at Sin Lee for lunch/dinner. The sweet potato fries are well-cut and are of relatively even size and so they are all evenly fried, which I think is something that's very important for fries. The salted egg sauce is also well-made - creamy with adequate salted egg aroma without being gelat. It leans slightly to the sweet side though, so you might be disappointed if you prefer the savory kind.

KONE sits amongst the cluster of cafes in Jalan Dhoby and it'll be hard to miss KONE if you are there for the famous banana cake or one of the other cafes there. KONE sells just 4 different flavors of soft-serve ice cream: dark chocolate, yogurt, matcha and watermelon. My personal favourite would be the yogurt one which had the perfect balance between sweetness and sourness. It also had an authentic yogurt texture. Matcha and watermelon flavors were also rich and authentic. But the dark chocolate one was slightly lackluster as it wasn't rich enough - perhaps dark chocolate is simply incompatible with 'soft serve' type ice cream as it is light and fluffy by nature - gelato-type ice-cream is probably more suitable.

Plus point: dry ice theatric - they put dry ice below the cup to create a mist which is quite interesting to watch.
