🥗 Salmon Poke Soba ($10 + $2 for additional salmon): Cha soba + Salmon sashimi cubes (marinated in wasabi/ soy sauce ??) + Edamame + Corn + Cucumbers + Cherry tomatoes + Sous vide egg.
Healthy, simple and filling — can’t go wrong!

🍖 The Honey BBQ Babyback Ribs ($22) was amazing! (This is my second time ordering this)
Fall-off-the-bone: CHECK✔️
Fork-tender: CHECK✔️
Well-seasoned: CHECK✔️ (Though I would’ve preferred if it was coated with more BBQ sauce — it got a tad dry in the middle)

🍝 Seafood Mentaiko Pasta ($18): Loved how generous they are with the ingredients. The pasta was cooked al dente and it was well-coated with the sauce — every mouthful brimmed with an explosion of umami flavours and creamy richness. 😋
🌟 We had the Main & Drink 1-for-1 Burpple Deal which is SUPER VALUE-FOR-MONEY. We had 2 mains & 2 alcoholic beverages (Seafood Mentaiko Pasta + Truffle Scallop Somen + 1 glass of Sauvignon Blanc + 1 bottle of Apple Cider) for $28.6 in total. WOOORTH.

🍜 The Cold Spicy Salmon Udon ($16.9) is my go-to dish every single time I head to Miss G’s.

This refreshing dish might not be able to feed the ravenous (~fairly small serving~) but they’re still pretty generous with their ingredients. And I love how the noodles are well-coated with the sauce - a mouthwatering mix of shoyu, sesame oil, chilli, tobiko & spring onions. 😋

🦐 Prawns used were really fresh!
🍤 Batter was yumz — just nice, not over-fried & not too oily.
🌶🦀 Chill Crab dip was not bad too!

(Sorry for the lazy review but I think there’s only that much to say for prawn fritters... haha I mean it was decent but not THAT mind-blowing enough for me to rave non-stop about it 😝)

Crabmeat Tart with Jicama Vegetable.

Not bad, although honestly, I wouldn’t mind topping up a little bit more for MORE crabmeat. 🦀 Given how little crabmeat there was, we could barely taste the sweetness of its flesh.

🌶 Personally, the chilli sauce is the final touch that really brings a good kueh pie tee together. However, the chilli was so mild (& little) that it couldn’t even be tasted. 😅

Their Chicken Liver Pate ($9.90) is served with 8 slices freshly-grilled Bruschetta rubbed with garlic & olive oil.🥖— And it went really well with our bottle of Freinsheimer Riesling Kabinett ($59.90) 🥂, which had a really nice citrussy tone.

🦐🍝 Cereal Prawn Pasta ($21.4): Spicy Aglio Olio with a local twist to it— featuring their “Hawker-style Cereal Butter Prawn”.

This plate of pasta had the perfect flavour mashup, nailing the sweet and savoury balance. They’re pretty generous with their ingredients as well & everything was well-coated with the aromatic blend of garlic, chilli, butter and cereal — truly an explosion of flavours.💥

I’ve been here a couple of times and I’m glad to say that this place never disappoints. I wouldn’t say that their stuff is mind-blowingly good, but they’re all fail-safe brunch staples. Definitely my go-to place for a satisfying brunch in Serangoon. 🥳

🍄🐖🍝 Their Mushroom Bacon Carbonara ($20.9) is reeeeally creamy & comforting. And as usual, I love how they don’t skimp on their ingredients. 👍🏼
