They forgot to give me the soybean powder ): Anyway the matcha soft serve is thick and creamy with a moderate level of bitterness, not a very intense matcha flavour. The red bean was a perfect complement to the matcha soft serve, and the white mochi was super chewy. I would advise against this option with the matcha jelly, as texture was somewhat off-putting and tasted bland. Iโd imagine the one with warabi mochi to be a better choice!

Tastes and feels just like yogurt, with an added subtle tartness from the raspberry. I would say that the sour tang is a bit harsher than other brands, but overall still made for a smooth and pleasant yogurt drink ๐ฅฐ
But I must say it is a little expensive, especially considering the amount of ice they put in );

The dough was so chewy!! It was filled with cubes of sharp cheese, with a slightly sour note that cut though the sweetness of the milky bun.

Made with rye, malt and scattered with walnuts. I really enjoyed this one! A light dough that tasted on the healthier side, with prominent grainy and nutty flavours.

A really intense matcha flavour this one ๐ณ The filling was thick and creamy, encased by a soft and chewy dough. Definitely one for a matcha lover!

[A open faced sourdough sandwich with a hummus spread, curried cauliflower topped with onions and a sprinkle of dukkah.]
Thereโs a very prominent spice flavour that hits you from the dukkah and the curried cauliflower, that I personally really liked, accompanied with the creamy and garlicky hummus spread. I loved the mix of textures, and overall it was pretty tasty and filling.

Such a perfect cookie! It has a brownie consistency, super fudgy and so chewy, with tiny pockets of melted chocolate ๐คค The cookie had a really good bite to it, with a slightly crisp top. Divineee
Went around 4pm and they were sold out of sourdough, but still had a few slices of cake and their coffee left! Itโs a nice and quaint outdoor location, really wanna come back with more people to sit down for some cake and coffee, or a meal ahh ๐ฅบ

This ๐๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ญ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐ค๐ ($6.80) kinda tasted like one of those Japanese peach jellies, but in a cake form!
A custard cream, yogurt mousse and peach mixture sits atop a light and airy madeleine base. The cake layer was suitably thick, helping to balance the creamy mousse, cut through by the added tang of the layer of raspberry jam.
However, there was a stark artificial sweetness about it, but you do taste the natural flavours of the peach, and it still somehow doesnโt get too cloying. Personally, I donโt like how sweet it is, but it might be more enjoyable for one with a sweet tooth!

Theyโre $1.70 each, and the mochi itself was flavoured! The buns were SOO soft and chewy buttt the fillings didnโt match up โน๏ธ
The ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐๐ก๐ข was a pass ๐ฅด I just couldnโt get past the artificial, sickly sweet apple filling. The honey flavoured mochi was not bad, but there was such a disappointing amount of it.
The ๐๐ก๐จ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐จ๐๐ก๐ข with a brown sugar flavoured mochi filling faired a little better, but I wouldโve preferred a darker chocolate fudge to balance the sweet mochi.

The ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ง ๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐จ๐๐ก๐ข ($๐.๐๐ ๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฌ) isnโt a that bad a bun, itโs just a bad matcha bun. There is a bare semblance of a matcha flavour, instead impersonated by a mild and artificial hint of... green.
Also, I donโt get what theyโre trying to do with the BITS of red bean?? Maybe it work better would a red bean paste, because there was almost no red bean flavour, instead masked by the yam paste.
The flakey top has the tiniest bit of matcha flavour, but isnโt flakey nor bitter enough to add anything to the bun.
Overall, this bun isnโt doing much. Itโs sweet and chewy, with a mild hint of each of the flavours. Iโm just mad itโs none of the things itโs claiming to be.
๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ค๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐จ๐๐ก๐ข ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ค ($๐.๐๐)
I especially loved how the natural taste and sweetness of both the yam and pumpkin come through, theyโre substantial in thickness and flavour without being too sweet. However, I wish the ratio were heavier on the yam, as there was less of it, and their pumpkin was already the stronger flavour to begin with.
And I know how people feel against the flowy, almost liquid-y mochi, but personally, I think it makes sense. The bun itself is really chewy, and I think that having a chewy mochi inside to compete with it wouldnโt work. The flowy mochi adds another element of texture, that isnโt the conventional chewy mochi.

Despite the negligible amount of yam filling, I still enjoyed the I mean, I honestly didnโt even realise there was yam in it until I read the name of the bun properly after. The sweet potato is definitely the overriding flavour, in the form of smooth vibrant purple paste. As a sweet potato lover, I really didnโt have a reason to complain. While the sweetness of the filling is palatable, it could do with less, considering that the crumb topping was also quite sweet.
