Just a stone's throw away from King Albert Park MRT, you'll find this alfresco bistro & bakery housed in KAP mall. Full of chill vibes and good bites, pop on by for a cuppa coffee, pastries and signature Sourdough Loaf ($9) freshly baked every monrning! Some of their crowd favourites include the Carrot Cake ($6), which was "pretty yummy, perfect if you prefer the less-sweet type of cakes with a stronger taste of spice. seems like your typical cafe dish but i was v pleasantly surprised by how good it was!!! soft, fluffy scrambled eggs served on top of a buttery, flaky croissant paired with candied bacons and feta cheese 😍 i found the bacon slightly too salty on its own, but the croissant and egg helped balance out the saltiness! overall a rly satisfying dish that i’d reorder 🥐

🍘Hidden in a kopitiam in bukit panjang, the mentai don is pretty decent. The mentaiko that slightly torched and melted on the salmon or chicken katsu, bring the umami taste of the dish.
It can be better if the sauce on the rice to be balanced in a good amount.

Second time is the charm! Visited the two chefs outlet at bishan years ago and didn't quite fancy it. Remembered that I ate the milk powder pork rib and went nahh what's so nice about this thing.

Fast forward a few years, visited the commonwealth outlet this time. Hesitated whether to get the milk powder pork ribs, and went ahead with ordering it. Turns out to be a good choice because this time round we greatly enjoyed it! Sweet milk powder with super soft pork ribs with no bones! Plus all the food was served quite fast and hot! Other dishes which we ordered include the sweet and sour fish, hei zo meat roll, seafood tofu and chaotah beehoon! We wanted to orfer the claypot tofu initially but it was not available when we visited.

Dined here on a Saturday night. Queue was relatively long but fast moving. And btw, no point calling to reserve seats beforehand. We called to reserve, but ended up we still had to queue up like everyone else. So no need to waste your time to call. Just head there early to queue. 😅They will take your order for the dishes before you are seated.

The bill for this meal for 4 pax was only $43.5! Affordable and good tzechar. Great for family gatherings!

All right, so apparently this bak ku teh very famous in Malaysia. Heard the rave about it so had to give it a try since I'm a BKT fan. Taste's subjective but honestly thought it was ok only, plus it ain't cheap. Not worth the price unless there's an offer.

$12 per plate - really worth it! It was one of the best sashimi I have eaten. Really thick and good. Will come back again.

Few years ago, when I was working and Bukit Timah is one of the pit stop before changing bus to go home, I would visit this porridge stall which is at the end of the hawker. When I jio to Bukit Timah, this is the stall I went straight. I'm not sure of the name but this stall is near a satay stall and this ceuntry egg & lean pork only cost $3 with so much ingredients. It is so worth it.

We were blown away by these french toasts! The toasts are warm and fluffy on the inside yet crispy on the outside. The cream cheese is sweet, yet the berries are slightly sour, it’s a very pleasant mix of flavours in one bite! You can add ice-cream as topping if you want. Among a few other French toasts that we have tried, this definitely tops the list. Would definitely be back for more.

Hmm it was not bad, avocado was fresh. Not crazy over avocado so it was not bad! It was good but won’t crave for it - will want to try something else next time I visit.
