Liked the tiger prawns, King crab soup, red snapper with nonya sauce.
Overall, more than half the dishes, my family liked.
Wishing everyone a peaceful New Year. I noticed that children may not look forward to CNY as much as we used to (I remember it was when I get new clothes and extra money, which doesn't really matter now), let's just enjoy the togetherness and speak good words to each other.
Don't reprimand, don't force, be patient. What works in the past may not be for now.
What's really important is that the family stays together for good times and bad.

Housed in one of the black and white colonial houses along Scotts Road, this beautifully outfitted restaurant is just the place for special occasion Peranakan family meals. The food too is perfectly executed, and should please even fussy Peranakan matrons. Start with classics like Ngoh Hiang ($16), Indocafe Signature Kueh Pie Tee ($18) and Otah Clasik ($12) โ their version is a spice-kissed chawanmushi egg stirred through with generous chunks of fish. Then move on to stellar mains like their Wagyu Beef Rendang ($28), meat slow-cooked till tender and slicked with the aromatic sauce, Kari Kepala Ikan ($28), red garoupa fish head cooked in assam gravy, and Chap Chye ($14), braised vegetable stew.
Avg price: $40 per person
My first encounter with charcoal nachos.
Spicy tangy Thai style spaghetti..Comfort food.
last week's run was futile after the prata intake. so this week had a smaller variant. that should help right. right?
Don't worry about it getting too hot as the existing fans and coolers do a mighty fine job of making it comfy. Great choice for a girls night out seeing that their cocktails mostly have a sweet finale

Sausages and beer along Singapore River~ ๐ It was nice sitting here and looking at various monuments and buildings that are part of Singapore and its proud history.
Currently still nursing a week-old fever, and a terrible cough. I miss eating whatever and whenever I wantttttt! ๐๐ Can't wait to be in the pink of health soon! ๐
i love chinese food as much as i love jap.
the peking duck above was mouth watering, loved the popiah skin! same goes for their empress meat platter, beef hor fun and that crispy white bait which are all worth the calories. (i do not like the salted egg prawn though)
i kid you not.
What's in the large-sized cup: Red Bean, Black Sesame & Snow White. The red bean had a slight, pleasant saltiness to it, though I wished for a stronger azuki flavour in the gelato; likewise for the lack of black sesame taste. The super milky Snow White (hidden & blurred in the background) has been my top pick ever since the first time I had it a couple of years ago.
3 munchies!
Along the bustling streets of Club Street is a hidden gem in the form of Italian restaurant Cugini. Believing in good homemade food, this five-year-old trattoria takes pride in using quality ingredients imported from all over the world. For the best squid ink pasta in town, look no further. Expect a burst of flavors in your mouth with the squid ink fettuccine ($27.90) with seafood, green pea puree and mullet roe. Made with extra yolk, the fettuccine pasta is richer, with a touch of homemade bottarga sauce (a Mediterranean delicacy made of mullet roe) that gels everything together.
