Love the flavour combinations and options here! We tried the brown butter sage and burnt white chocolate. Safe to say both were pretty good - not too sweet and had a deep burnt caramel flavour with brown butter sage tasting a bit mild. Their options like chocolate sorbet, coconut pandan, ispahan also sounded pretty interesting. Will be back to try more!

Interesting hotpot concept! They stir fry the meat (choice of chicken, pork belly, beef) with vegetables and some sauces firsy in the stone pot first then add a mild broth. It is the other ingredients you put in along the meal that help strengthen the broth’s flavour. You can choose the ingredients yourselves and every plate colour has a different price. Not bad, but price is not cheap as it ended up costing $30+ per person to be full. And we chose ‘fish cake with mochi’ but it turned out to be fish cake with potatoes and cheese. Misleading 😂

Yummy Angus rib eye with mixed cabbage, ancho mole, capsicum and onion salsa in a taco.

Another favourite taco is De Baja: crispy fish fillet with to die for chilli mango salsa. So good.

6 chicken wings/drummettes but only 3 left in this picture after 5 seconds of it being served. It was really good! Tangy thanks to the lime crema and sweet/spicy at the same time from the chipotle sauce. 6 was not enough.

Black tiger prawn, fish chicharron (basically fried fish skin) with barramundi emulsion and tomatillo. All the elements of this dish just gelled together so well. Surprisingly most of the flavour I felt came from the fish chicharron and tomatillo instead of the prawns, but I liked how succulent the prawns were.

While the fried rice had sufficient wok hei, the blandness leaves much to be desired. It was so flavourless 😂 Same goes for the noodles broth. Tasted like food for sick people lol. But the pork chop was tender and flavourful!

Pretty decent ramen! Noodles sufficiently springy but flavour is ok only, tasted almost like those Chinese yellow noodles. My black garlic broth is oddly milder than the normal garlic broth, but I preferred mine because the garlic broth one got saltier towards the end. They even have fresh sliced garlic in the soup itself so if you don’t like garlic don’t get their Umami series 😂

In descending order of favourite to least favourite dish, we ordered the signature biang biang noodles, minced pork noodles in sour spicy soup, spicy stir fry noodles (pictured) and chinese hamburger.

I really liked the springiness of the noodles here, feels very handmade. Each dish had different shapes/sizes of noodles! The sour spicy soup was quite salty though and I can’t imagine someone finishing a whole bowl by themselves. Spicy stir fry noodles was not spicy at all and had a lotttt of bell pepper. Tasted like a milder version of the biang biang noodles. The Chinese hamburger which had some shredded pork inside, was not good in my opinion.

Our favourite which we’d come back for is the biang biang noodles. I’d love to try the sesame noodles too next time.

Ordered this to go together with the nasi lemak I had, and this was really good. Sufficiently sweet, spicy, sour, and totally met my expectations.

This was such a good meal! Succulent deep fried chicken leg with ample flavour. The sambal was towards the sweeter side something which I personally prefer but I know others don’t. Coconut rice was fragrant and egg was sunny side up. Crunchy peanuts and anchovies to top off. Other than the hefty price tag, I was happy with everything on the plate. It truly satisfied my cravings for nasi lemak.

Also shoutout to the amazing service there. The staff was so friendly!

Well grilled skewers! Featuring basic kushiyaki such as chicken meatball, chicken wing, shishito pepper and shiitake - a diverse variety of skewers. Favourite was the chicken thigh!

Crispy baked Parmesan chips served with honey and cherry tomatoes, recommended by the waitress. The chips by itself were kinda salty for me but with the honey and tomatoes, that’s were it really shined. The tomatoes go so well with the cheese chips, I didn’t think that flavour combination would work. The sweetness of the honey and tomatoes lent itself well to the savouriness of the chips. Very interesting dish to try at least once, but I would save my money to order something else on the menu next time.
