Red Miso Salmon, $10.80 Red miso salmon, soba, broccoli and garlic, grilled pumpkin, cherry tomatoes, furikake, coriander leaves and plum sesame sauce (this was from their list of preset bowls). Chiak bowls are simple, unpretentious, light and healthy. Because of this, they tend to be on the bland side, and the flavours don鈥檛 come through easily. The mains are certainly interesting with chicken chestnut patty and prawn otak but the rest of the components are a bit lacklustre. However, I wouldn鈥檛 mind dropping by for that boost of healthy shot. Read more about Chiak on my site at: https://littlemissramen.wordpress.com/2017/12/06/chiak-mapletree-business-city/

Dry Options Seem Good Here is my friend's DIY bowl. Nicked some pork belly from her & it was tasty. Everything was good except the roasted sweet potato which, for some reason, was served Not Hot? Even though it's roasted? (Or do they mean "once-roasted-but-has-been-sitting-there-for-a-while"?) Basic Bowl: $8.80 nett for 1 base + 1 protein + 2 sides + 3 toppings + 1 dressing. (Dressing is only applicable if you select the dry option i.e. no soup) Other possible options are identical as above but with 2 proteins ($11.30 nett), or 3 proteins ($13.50 nett). 馃挸 Accepts credit cards 馃尙 Air-conditioned seats

Spiced Nutmeg Acai Bowl The perfect post-workout treat, the Acai Bowl at Seed & Soil is infused with a distinctive nutmeg spiced flavor, setting it apart from the more commercialized varieties in the market. It is a refreshing treat - lavish scoops of frozen puree peppered with a mix of coconut flakes, pumpkin seeds and Goji berries which add an earthy profile to the otherwise fruity flavors. Here, the fruits take a backseat, for the mix of nuts and seeds which blend seamlessly with the spiced aromas. The hole-in-the-wall vibe draws me back each time an acai craving hits, and I know with each visit an honest homely bowl awaits.

Acai Bowl ($15) Tucked in a neighbourhood, it was a really pleasant find! The acai was pretty average I would say... nothing really striking about it 馃檴 but it was delectable nonetheless!

Seed And Soil . Location 馃椇: 1 Tanjong Pagar Plaza, #01-22, 082001 . Opening Hours 馃晵: 8AM 鈥 8PM (10AM 鈥 5PM on Saturdays) . Rating 馃搱: 3/5 . Price 馃捀: $10 (Pitaya Sunrise) . Review 馃挰: Decided to go with Pitaya Sunrise as it consisted of red dragon fruit and sounded pretty good. The portion was pretty small considering the price, but it was not bad overall. Toppings included some mixed nuts and seeds, white dragon fruit, kiwi and some dried goji berries. My favourite toppings would have to be the goji berries and the coconut flakes as those two toppings helped to add flavour to the otherwise mild-tasting smoothie bowl. #euniceeatssweets #sgigfoodies #burpple

Warm Salad Bowl Picked the warm protein - miso salmon - and it was amazing! The fish was well marinated and added a nice oomph to the lettuce base. I also accompanied my base with a portion of pasta, which was pretty decent. Portions were big so I shared it with my friend 馃檪 a good place for a quality salad bar.

DIY Salad (Cold Proteins - $11) Brought my own container since I already intended to takeaway my salad, but I could also make a side by side comparison with the salad I ordered at Cedele last week. Theoretically they should be the same portion since they are under the same group, but Toss & Turn has once again proven how value for money their salad option is. What鈥檚 in my bowl: Base - soba, romaine lettuce Protein - 2 cold (spicy chicken and brined tuna) Toppings - eggplant, corn kernels, bell peppers and pumpkin Dressing - cashew lime Just look at how much meat I was given for $11! I managed to get the spicy mayo chicken chunks and brined tuna, and I鈥檓 not sure if it was close to closing time which was why I got an extra huge helping of the protein (the orange part on top is totally chicken, and the bottom half was tuna which has been obscured by the four toppings). Super super value for money given the portion size and makes for a very fulfilling and delicious meal! With the seasoned proteins, I didn鈥檛 even need the cashew lime dressing. Not a fancy salad place by any means, but one that provides a wide spread of consistently good and value for money ingredients!
