Visited the dunearn outlet! Service staff were very polite and friendly :)

Ordered the Tagliolini al Nero di Seppia con Salsa di Granchio ($19.90) which is a homemade squid-ink tagliolini with crabmeat in white wine sauce. Just a note that the picture above shows a half portion! (The chef helps to split the food into half, pretty thoughtful).

Our bad for not reading the menu properly as we expected a creamy squid ink like pasta. However the taste is pretty decent! I enjoyed the garlicky taste accompanied by the abundant amount of crabmeat. One thing to point out would be that the squid ink taste isnt very prominent though. Would rate this a 8/10.

They really live up to their name of being a Roast Meat Specialist ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿคช

Arrived at a pretty early timing (~5pm ish) for dinner expecting little queue and plenty of roast meats available. Unfortunately only the char siew was available so you probably have to visit during lunch!!

Ordered the char siew noodles ($4.50) which came with some bok choy and chilli. The chilli was amazing with a kick to it! But more importantly, the char siew is amazing with the fatty components complimenting the meat. It was well-caramelised and juicy and made up for the fact that the siew yok/duck werent available. Thing to note is that the bowl is quite small - might not be able to fill those with big appetites!

All in all 9/10 for the value and quality. Would come here again!!! Really want to try their siew yok and roast duck too ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅบ

Braised lamb shank was amazingggg. Wasnโ€™t gamey at all and the roasted veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, sweet potat) + mashed potatoes were so good too. Meat was tender and the portion was of a good size too. Would definitely recommend this dish. Canโ€™t wait to b back hehe ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Used burpple 1-1 tgt with the pesto pasta and paid $33.10!

Visited Eleven Strands on a Friday night around 8pm and we had to wait ~10mins for a seat! Nonetheless food was served pretty quickly. Heard many good things about the pasta and it was a no-brainer to order it. It was creamy, the prawns were v juicy and the pesto flavour really shines through! Also opted for the handmade tagliatelle (+$3). Used burpple and paid $33.10 for this and lamb shank.

Verdict: 9/10

Ps: for those that drive down thereโ€™s a big carpark right across, as well as street parking beside the restaurant!

Used 30% and the bill became ~$26 for 2.

Ordered the lunch deal which comes with 1 bowl of noodles with egg, 1 serving of dumplings (4pc) and 1 drink.

Sichuan Pork Noodles and Braised Pork noodles: Sichuan was not v spicy and nothing spectacular honestly! My friend tried the braised pork and I think it was nothing much too. Neither v good nor bad. Portion was quite filling though

Tried the Fried Pierogi and Spicy Sichuan dumplings. The former was great and I would reorder that- it contains some potato cream like texture inside with a scent of truffle. Sounds weird but its honestly good. The latter was meh, wasnt even that spicy and was quite oily.

For the drinks we ordered the salted plum wolfberry pu-erh and the passionfruit ginger soda! Personally i preferred the passionfruit ginger soda, was super refreshing and the ginger oddly complimented the whole drink! Tried abit of the pu-erh but the salty flavour was quite distinct? My friend didnt mind it though.

Overall wouldnt travel all the way here to eat but maybe if im in the area! For $13+ it was a very filling lunch!

Rating: 8.5-9/10

Located right outside cross street exchange, we ordered 2 bowls of malatang - one ๅฐ่พฃ and the other ไธญ่พฃ. Tbh the difference in spiciness isnt very obvious!

Both bowls were around $11-$12, priced at $2.88/100g. We were pretty full after as well. Pretty worth it in my opinion especially because it doesnt matter whether you take veggie or meat. There was quite a wide variety to choose from too โ€” eg lobster ball with row, fried tofu skin, pork belly, dory fish, prawn, cuttlefish, mushrooms etc.

Taste wise: the broth was super creamy! After receiving your bowl there will be a condiments station where the server would add sesame sauce, crushed garlic, chilli oil, coriander etc. The sesame sauce contributed to the creaminess of the broth too, however the server did put alot of sauce and the creaminess got abit jelak for me midway through. Besides that, the broth was v tasty too as the mala taste isnt compromised by the creamy texture.

We dined at 2pm but even then there were still a few office workers dining there. Can imagine peak hour to be pretty crowded.

Side note: This place is pretty comparable to the popular malatang chain - Dragon Hotpot in Australia :) IMO its 80-90% similar!

Bought this for my mum so I didnt drink much! But at 25% sugar level the drink is actually not very sweet which is great. (Especially how caramel flavoured drinks risk being overwhelmingly sweet)

The tea flavour is quite prominent too! My mum likes it :) She said there were too many pearls but i feel that its alright hahaha (i really like their honey pearls)

Overall idk im not a caramel kind of person so i wont repurchase, but if you are your order wont go wrong!

Bought the pink guava rock salt macchiato with honey pearls ($4.90 + 80c) at 25% sugar level.

Second time trying this drink! I love the fruitiness of the pink guava drink, its super refreshing and I can easily finish the whole cup :โ€) the rock salt macchiato adds an element of creaminess to it as well - The foam has abit of a savoury cheese taste which in my opinion really compliments the drink! I think its super worth too with burpple - paid $6.20 for 2 large bbts :)

Wanted to use burpple beyond for the 1-1 ice cream and add on waffles but the place doesnt allow it (to be clear: they dont allow adding on to the 1-1 deal) Not sure if this applies to cones though.

Tried the Pistachio and Smoked Cheese flavours! Overall paid $16 for this

Pistachio - So goooddddd. Imo can even compare to the one at birds of paradise! The pistachio flavour is so rich and amazing ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Smoked cheese - Meh will pass on this. Wouldnโ€™t recommend, it just tastes really smoky at the start then theres a milky/vanilla taste as well? Idk my taste buds are a lil confused after this.

As for the waffles - The waffles are quite sweet with sugar crystals coating it, rendering the waffles to be pretty crunchy..? Personally prefer other types of fluffy, buttermilk waffles instead though.

Tried the - black milk tea with panna cotta - and - jasmine green tea with plum jello -

Black milk tea with panna cotta is gooood! 9/10 for the taste and aesthetics. Pretty unique as well. For the price though ($7.50) its pretty ex without burpple beyond :โ€) But the panna cotta really elevated the tea leaving you with such a creamy texture ๐Ÿฅฐ

Jasmine green tea with plum jello wasnt as good though :( Would rate it a 6.5/10. It was pretty sweet which required us to add water to dilute the drink. The plum jello also contributed an element of sourness to the drink but we didnโ€™t really enjoy it. Wouldnt get this again!

Overall would def come back for the black milk tea w panna cotta!!! Would wna try the strawberry too.

ordered the grilled miso cod capellini ($30), char-grilled spiced french chicken ($30) and beer-battered white bait ($12)! Shared between 4 people

miso cod capellini was good! Would def order this if i come here again. 8.5/10

The chicken was alright, but not spectacular. Personally i didnโ€™t really like the sauce so i probably would give this a miss. 6.5/10

The white bait comes with freshly shaved wasabi snow and wasabi mayo dip. Tgt it tasted pretty good and addictive! Would order this again :) 8/10

Used burpple 1-1!

Bought the banana cognac (right) and rum&apple (left) with burpple 1 for 1!

The banana cognac was light yet with a prominent banana flavour! There were also big honeycombs(?) within the pie itself but it was a lil too sweet for our liking. Overall would rate it a 8/10!

Would rate the rum&apple a 6.5-7/10 though, didnt really think it was anything spectacular. Felt abit dry as well.

Both pies came with a tea - we chose a white tea and a cranberry tea. However both teas were very bland :( on our part we could have added sugar but honestly can do without the drinks.

Overall worth a try but... probably wont return.
