I came here on a Sunday, so it was packed, considering it was a weekend and the KFC@Takashimaya is located at a corner which is pretty small. But me and my 2 friends, managed to find a space eventually. I would recommend for you to go to KFC@Orchard Cineleisure instead.
With this Original Rice Bucket Meal, you get chicken rice as the base, mushrooms, popcorn chicken, and some gravy. It was okay for a meal, quite filling, not super delicious.
(PS. : Would rather get the New Famous Bowl, which is $5 (elsewhere) bcos you can get an extra chicken wing!)

The chicken cutlet was pretty crispy, cabbage was savory, egg is just egg(?). Anyways, a pretty filling meal!
(Take note: the curry ain't the japanese curry kind, is just like normal curry(?) not rlly sure how to describe, but just so u know!)

$5.90 Nasi Lemak - Basmati rice with chicken wing and egg and loads of chilli. Same standard as Adam Hawker Centre. Shiok!!
Each set $6.90. Crunchy chicken wing, kuning fish, fried egg and coconut rice. Coffee and tea is separate order. Cool corner for a lunch in the middle of the basement.
Not bad for a lunch in the city. The duck was tender and the meat was well seasoned.
However, the sweet gravy covered all the crispy texture from the skin.

A good affordable food option located in town!
Tucked away at the corner of Lucky Plaza, an eating house that has been around for years. A number of people come here to have a quick meal during their lunch break because it's both cheap and good.
At just $4.20, I got this sizeable portion of roasted duck kway teow in gravy. The duck was super tender while the skin still had that crisp even with the gravy. Today, I felt that the gravy was a tad too oily and I wished it was more viscous. But the duck together with the signature chili sauce made this such a treat.
Guess how much is this? It's only $6.80 for such a big portion! The flavour of the curry and bomb and the chicken cutlet is crispy, really good! ๐ so worth eating!
Had dinner with friends here. Menu range with seafood. Affordable and tastes not bad. If you are on budget, lucky plaza is the place for budget people. Definitely can visit back again to try the others. This is set O $5.90 only โบ
This is at Toast Box Paragon, facing Mouth Elizabeth Medical Centre.
$7.40 for a plate of simple but yummy cheesy chicken chop noodles and a hot drink! Drink can be anything from coffee, tea to barley. I love how they added cheese in this dish and how it all come together. Comfort food when I have had a hard day. 4.0/5

Other than TOP 1 in beauty world centre, this place is another favourite of mine for handmade noodles, particularly Mee Hoon Kuay. Hand stretched and pulled into pieces, the noodles are very chewy and full of bite. Have it dry, and tossed in dark sauce and Chili, it is definitely yummy. Well balanced of the sweet and spicy, and savoury from the well fried ikan bilis, I can understand why office crowd love this.
Take note that if you like heat, it's better to go for TOP 1 Noodles.
The spam fries isn't my favourite, maybe because the luncheon meat used isn't the great. And that fried niangao wasn't that yummy too, maybe because the flour was too overwhelming and thick that it takes away the taste of the niangao. Proportion wasn't done right. So just stick to their mains.
$4.30 for this plate of Hainanese style curry rice. Super soft cabbage and fried egg matches the crispy crunchy chicken cutlet. Curry savoury sauce is quite similar to scissor cut version. Drink is $1 with this set.
$6 seriously cook on the spot Claypot rice. Burnt rice lovers comfort food, with the dark sweet sauce, completes the meal. Chinese sausage is juicy and tender chicken meat layer in between.
