The food is great! I recommend to try ice cream flavors. Its affordable though. U get to choose ur fav 12 flavor ice cream for only $19.90! Great place for dinner , chit chat and dates!
When one goes to the sushi bar, one MUST try the salmon aburi roll.
The dollop of mentaiko, torched together with the salmon, makes for the perfect cherry on top of each roll, leaving a sweet and savoury aftertaste in your mouth. This is undoubtedly the best part of the roll and its competitive pricing of $16.80 for 8 rolls makes it a must-visit place.
Both thumbs up for this dish!
This special purple fusion menu will only be available 1st August onwards!! This low calories, high antioxidant version will be a hit for weight and health watchers. Kinsa specially imported their purple rice from Taiwan to create this healthier rendition.
Thank you @kinsasushi for the kind invitation!
Why do a dish everyone else has done to death? Well, it's only logical to pop the cherry with a restaurant's signature dish, which meant that a bowl of Kaisendon was lying in front of me waiting for me to ravage it. This is probably the first place I've been to where the sashimi to rice ratio was stacked in the favor of our fishy friends, and I plowed through the mountain of fresh, delectable salmon, tuna, scallops and God-knows-what-else in there with pleasure. The salmon was amazing and had no overpowering fishy taste, the tuna was firm yet tender, and the unidentified sashimi were sweet and had a crisp bite. Special mention goes out to the potent mountain of wasabi that that punches your face in with every bite. Much like the poor (some say dumb) girl in that BDSM porn flick that hit cinemas a couple of months ago, the wasabi will hurt you and leave its mark on you, but you will keep coming back for more. Unfortunately, the rice ended up being the one that let the bowl down with its unappetizing clumps that were barely tepid. Also, the bowl needs more special sauce, as there was about as much sauce on the rice as there is water in the Sahara desert. Other than that, kudos to Teppei Syokudo for a wonderfully generous Kaisendon at just $16.

A close up of my starter. This is the little guy that was attempting to steal my flounder sushi! Straight after this shot, I popped him into my mouth 🙊
Rather disappointing. I find the pork cutlet is slightly hard to bite, and the batter too crispy. The egg was generally dry and the onions were just not caramelised (or maybe cause they were not supposed to but oh wells). The rice was too soft and clumpy unlike the typical perfect Japanese rice that I love. I rather pay more to get a better bowl of Katsu Don somewhere else…
It has been awhile since I've been here but the lychee tea still is as good as I remembered. Great ambience!

New Arteastiq post on the blog.
It's yoghurt, pretty known in Singapore but this was my first time trying it! It costs $2.69/100g so its a self service kind of thing. Pretty cool cause you can decided how much yoghurt you want and the toppings too. Personally like the original and pomegranate flavor. Chocolate wasn't that nice. Vanilla was alright (: mine was $4.90 I think! There was a 20% off haha!
